I've been MIA for a while now. A long while. I love how much support and comfort this blog brought me while we went through our treatments.. but as soon as i got those two pink lines , I drew a blank for my thoughts... I know what it's like to follow a friends fertility journey. You hope for the best for them, but when you hear their good news it still comes out as a blow to the stomach.

Why her and not me?

I feel like I'm going to get left behind while all my friends have success.

We've been trying longer.

These are all things I worried about my readers feeling because I know how terrible it is to feel that way. I WANTED to be supportive. I WANT good things for my infertile friends who deserve the world. I just couldn't stop my brain.

So I was stumped on what to post. I know I am going to see a decline in followers. Don't feel bad. I totally get it. You still have my support whether or not you can stomach my blog. Thank you for listening for however short or long of a time you like.

CD1 due today!

Going to try and hold out until Friday to test, if it hasn't shown itself before then. Waves of positivity are flowing through me today. Hopefully they flow right into that pee stick. Lol

Crazy..

This is me frantically reading info online about implantation lol. So I've still got almost a week left to wait. I'm not usually THIS crazy during the two weeks, but I simply can't wait one more week. I don't know how I'm going to make it! Lol

One week down!

One week down, one more to go. This is usually when I start symptom spotting. Lol. God give me the strength not to this time!

Trying to stay happy and resolved with whatever happens. As we’d taken the last two cycles off to rest anyways, the start of a new period would mean the start of another IUI cycle. So whether we did it this time (using the egg meets sperm method) or whether we hop into another IUI, I’m excited.

This natural cycle plan was to have sex every day of the cycle after my TOM. I'm beat! Ovulation was scheduled for today. We will carry on for a few more days and then take a well deserved rest! Lol almost took all the fun out of it!

My husband

The rock. The positive thinker. Usually so steady and so certain we will be parents soon. Last night he had a rare moment where he got really down and really disappointed about us not expecting yet. It shatters my heart a hundred times more when he’s upset about it. He’s my rock and to see him beaten down about it is so heart breaking. Infertility sucks.

Moody AF

Feeling out of control blue today. I assume the new cycles approach is to blame, but either way I’m feeling bummed out. Trying to stay grateful and think positively but infertility is a BITCH.

Fresh Air

This cycle is almost over and I am very glad We decided to step back from fertility treatments for this one. I have been feeling MUCH better physically and emotionally. Mike is relieved to see my back to my happy go lucky attitude. I think we will take one more cycle off before heading into IUI Attempt #3. For now, I’m just taking life as it comes. 😎

Date Night

A vital part of my self care is having a great night out with the hubs. Decided to try an Ethiopian restaurant in London. Not really fond of it but always enjoy a night out with him.
