I’m so tired of the people that think aro and/or ace people have it easy because they think we don’t experience heartbreaks. I’ve experienced tons of heartbreaks and I’m sure there will be many more to come. I’ve had my heart broken from people who’ve let me down or abandoned me, from my favorite series ending, from giving up my dream, etc. I’ll cry and scream my heart out, curse at myself and other people, mull over what could’ve happened instead, and be depressed for days. These feelings aren’t exclusive to romantic relationships, they’re just as painful as a breakup. I’m not “lucky”, I’m not “heartless” or “emotionless”, I’m just like everyone else

And if they can’t save him, they can at least stay with him until he figures out how to save himself.
