I've been meaning to draw Tangle for awhile now n finally got around to it :]

Not even kidding when I say I forgot her prosthetic arm in two of the drawings and had to go back. (Also Vector's chains come during the coloring stage. Don't ask, it's my weird method XD) I want to color this some time, but until then, have these doodles of my au's chaotix. I pretty much made these bc I wanted to mess with Julie-Su and Mighty dynamics. (Especially Julie-Su development I want to make her feel like an actual character) I wanted to do Ray, I just ran out of juice. The chaotix in my au are a lot like a family. Vector's literally everyone's father figure here, including Mighty and Julie-Su. They all love eachother and have eachother's backs even if they butt heads sometimes. Charmy: Sees him as a little brother. This means she would both destroy the world for him while also snatching the last treat before he can. This goes for Ray too. Her favs, the others don't ask her what her 3rd favorite reptile is. Mighty: They often train together, and while she's not as strong as him, they still wrestle and such. They have a tendency to talk more since Mighty's laid back. Usually the one who manages to calm her down. (Or anyone down for that matter. Mighty's the team's therapist) Vector: They don't always see eye to eye, and while she's usually more mature on level with Espio, she can't resist pushing Vector's buttons. As mentioned, she does see him as a father figure, so it's more of the annoying that kids do to their parents. But don't worry, as the father figure, he has plenty of ways to get under her skin too. They also happen to butt heads the most for different ideas of how missions should be carried out. Espio: @charleecat-bat mentioned/suggested it'd be a fun/friendly rivalry between the two because they're both marksmen. She's great with guns, he's great with his kunai and shuriken stars. They get compettive during training, but once they get too snippy about it they can't help but laugh how stupid it is to get shaken up about. (Also yes she's taller than him he's slightly jealous.) Main thing I want to do with this version of Julie is make her still sassy and hot headed, but be more genuine. She doesn't get jealous as easily either.

My take on Amy's parents and grandparents!

Amy's dad is a magician and has psychic abilities but doesn't really use them at all. Amy's mom is the typical pretty lady and loves to dress up and use pretty jewelry but loves gardening and has way too many plant babies to count.

not only did i want to take the amy is half echidna theory but also wanted to make nods towards silver being related to her in some way too!

Ok I have a lot of thoughts about the Sonic movie and its universe and all the characters in general, but first I’m gonna talk about how much I LOVE the family dynamic between these guys. LOOK AT THEEEEM!!

Tom and Maddie straight up adopted these freaking aliens with absolutely no hesitation. And also LOOK AT THEM!! They are BROTHERS y’all. And the fact that Maddie and Tom got them all of this stuff and made sure it was themed to their interests

They play baseball together AS A FAMILY and get ice cream and just have a fun time. These human parents love their alien animal children so much. I wish Tom and Maddie were my parents fr

And then we get to the Knuckles series (which I literally just started watching) and this is part of the first few moments of the first episode. Just Maddie being a mom taking care of her children and making them breakfast.

And of course grounding her children too. Omfg I loved this too much, especially because it’s implied that Sonic has been grounded by them before and he just accepts it and just loves the fact that Tom and Maddie care for him enough to ground him.

This is from Sonic 3 but I just had to include it because it’s actually such a beautiful moment if you think about it. Like, movies and movie night are things that Sonic has always loved and enjoyed. It’s what he would try to make himself a part of before he officially met Tom and Maddie. Even though he would watch from a window, he always felt part of their family on movie nights. And then he just decided to share that with Knuckles and Tails and have movie nights with them oh my god.

I love the fact that Knuckles got so scared he literally took Sonic and Tails’ hands for comfort. THEY ARE THE BROTHERS EVEER.

Also, I wonder what kinds of movies they would watch together. Sonic mentions Mission Impossible and Tails seems to be familiar with it. Obviously, I feel like Sonic would have them watching 80s/90s movies, but would he show them Disney movies? I hope so because I think that would be awesome.

And we know that Sonic has called Tom “Dad” before (even though he didn’t in the 3rd movie and I’m kind of salty about that). Does that mean he might call Maddie “Mom” one day? Will Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles call them “Mom and Dad” one day in the future?!!?

Shadow the Hedgehog - Anima and Animus by Cylent-Nite (tumblr)

These are fan characters made to be inhabitants of Shadow’s dream world in Maginaryworld, Animus is based on Omege and Gerald while Anima is based on Maria and Rouge. Great designs and a really cool concept! Based on the personalities of the characters and the designs I tried to come up with what parts of Shadow’s personality the two of them represent:

Animus (Shadow’s masculine side): calculating, alert, protective, unethical, destructive, instinctive, stern and taciturn

Anima (Shadow’s feminine side): flossy, possessive, compliant, persuasive, loyal, selfless, smug and unworldly
