Frankenstein au but Solis and Lunar find an abandoned baby? Or Y/N has a baby?

lunar is not… comfortable with children. it will take a lot, and i mean *alot* to get him to warm up to the idea of a child. they are too innocent, too fragile.

solis thinks they’re the cutest little balls of cotton she’s ever seen! they so badly want to squish their cheeks! alas, fate is cruel. however, she would never leave a child alone or in danger. he would carefully, and with minimal involvement, lead them back to where they came from. even though its a child, solis has to remain vigilant. afterall, a child is more likely to tattle on their existence to a parent.

[ramblings for lunar below. ps im not good at comics so im sorry if this is formatted sooooo bad]

Following the original Frankenstein story, Lunar has killed before. Specifically, he killed the creators younger brother brother. Rejected by the most innocent of the world, a child, he flew into a rage. He would do whatever it takes to get revenge on his creator for making a being such as him. The quote “If I cannot inspire love, I will cause fear” is taken from chapter 17 of Frankenstein, and I think encapsulates a lot of Lunar’s actions before meeting Solis.

However, now that he has a companion (especially one with a more… optimistic outlook on the world), he looks at that memory in fear. He lost himself, and truly became the monster he hated. In the books its never specified that the monster enjoyed killing, and I never interpreted it as so. It was a means to bring Frankenstein despair, and nothing more. If anything could have caused him more harm, he would have done so.

For this instance, I think Lunar fears interacting with children. He believes that they shouldn’t be near someone as dangerous as him, someone who has spilt their blood before. He envies their outlook on the world. But a child is still a human, and can still destroy the careful world him and Solis have built.

sorry for not posting anything for a whole..5 days?! its like ive hitted a skill cool down period after attending/selling at the game festival on Saturday.. it was a bunch of fun!! talking to a bunch of people about the stuff i love is always a joy :D i don't feel exhausted from the event at all, it's just the fact that I havent felt the drive to attack anyone on artfight, or draw anything serious at all...

ive been drawing my bullshit though! ill let you all into the many lore ive built for Phoony, the deltarune darkner version of infi :) i promise you'll like her i think. shes not a selfship, just a dust bunny that was a little betrayed and emotionally neglected. yk the usual

I absolutely love the sun/moon/eclipse cursor packs you made (ty so much for making them free!!!) I was wondering how you made them in the first place? what program(s) did you use? I'd like to try and make some, they seem fun!!

hello! im glad you loved the cursors! :D I'm happy to make things for the community! i made the artworks and the pixel sprites on aseprite :D the programs allowed me to make animations as well, but any program works :)

and after the artworks are done, i used the program "RealWorld Cursor Editor" that is free, to fix the hotspot of the cursor so the action point of the cursor is on the point where i want, and to also save the files to .ico and .ani for the cursors so we can actually use it

this should get you started just fine :D if you have any specific questions feel free to leave them in the replies, ill try to help as much as i can. but these are the key things that's important... have fun making cursors!

I had the vaguest idea on what they do individually. They’re both fucking HUGE, Sun’s main abilities is being able to prevent blood from clotting after he bites and all moon’s abilities were purely hallucination based
