For inspiration, if the machines gain consciousness and learn to ignore bad, they will be good. But if evil conscience is fed to the machines, they will definitely start countering humans.
Moreover, most of the renowned physicists have signed a petition to let authorities understand the risks and threats associated with Super AI and to stop funding such projects. But who knows where the greed resides. Even if government or authorities stop such projects, corporate businesses would still be more interested in funding such projects and go to any extent.
