Currently reading: No Longer Human by Dazai Osamu.

Currently watching: way too much anime lol. Classroom of the Elite on Crunchyroll. Desperately trying to resist the call of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Currently obsessed with: Teen Wolf, specifically sterek. I will talk the ear off whoever brings it up (and whoever doesn't, I almost exclusively talk about sterek these months days). Trying to pass my classes, as always.

Ooooh I have a few! These are all pretty recent, or at least have been updated in the last couple of months.

Through the Formative Chaos by rei_c. It’s not finished but it’s so good. Love it when s3B is done like this!

Twice And for All by novasillies is also awesome. One of the best time travel au’s I’ve read, and Stiles’ characterization is just *chef’s kiss* amazing! His slow descent into semi-madness is great, and it’s almost done! Only four chapters left.

Moon Spilling In by quelling (@oldefashioned and @sterekical on tumblr) it’s wonderful!!! Made me cry every few lines and the ending is just perfect.

Vervain by Kivkland is algo giving such a kick! Canon rewrites are my favorite, and this one is set for just after s3B so you know it’s going to have that good post-Nogitsune angst. Also unfinished, but it’s amazing from the get go.

Side Character by Hedwig221b (also @hedwig221b here on tumblr!) is just— uuuuugh. I love it. Tbh I love most of everything written by Hedwig221b so maybe I’m biased.

Hesitantly putting the Derek’s Person series by ash_mcj here because the latest instal was updated semi-recently, but it started back in 2021. This series breaks my heart into tiny little pieces and then stomps on it. Either everyone is happy enough to make you vomit rainbows, or it’s just sad enough that it makes you want to curl up in a ball and sob.

I haven't played like. ANY. of the games i've been tagged in lately (tbf i've had a cold and i'm just now starting to feel better) so here, have a tiny snip from my @sterekcollabang WIP, The Devil in the Next Room:

Derek drifted toward the alley involuntarily, a fish on a line. His heart fell. A witch, pale as the dead, stood at the end of the alley cornered by palace officers. They were all human, but they had weapons, and the witch looked like he was about to keel over. A thin silver chain dangled between the fingers of his left hand. His eyes were wide but glazed. Derek should run. He couldn’t risk being spotted by the officers who—despite their allegiance to the king—would no doubt report to the High Priestess. He clenched his free hand, digging his claws into palm. The witch swayed and tipped against the wall. The chain slipped down, but he managed to hold onto it. The officers advanced on him. Derek’s jaw clenched. So many witches were dead or imprisoned. Could he walk away from this one? He threw the last of his krill bowl at the back of the nearest officer’s head. The fried fish exploded against his hair, spattering sauce and meat all down his back. He shouted and whipped around. Derek charged with his head lowered, shoulder-checking them both into one of the garbage bins lining the alley. He threw the witch’s left arm over his shoulders and pulled him close. He wasn’t quite unconscious, so he managed to stay upright with Derek taking most of his weight while they ran. He was burning with fever even though both of their coats. “Keep to the sliver,” he slurred. “Shh,” Derek snapped. He could hear the officers swearing and clambering up to chase them. They had to get off the street. He swiveled his head until he saw an opening between a tailor and hat shop. He maneuvered the witch over the uneven rocks and into the scraggly, dry grass.

Sometimes I wonder if Katsuki is actually canonically attractive, or if it’s just Izuku’s influence on the narrative.

People say that because they’ve blurred the reality between canon and fanon to the point where the Nogitsune is just a fun little trickster that goes a little stabby sometimes. A lot of Stiles’ more aggressive behavior comes from his trauma given by the Nogitsune, (he gets angry more easily, chooses violence as a first option, ups his paranoia even more than before) so they just… mix them together. It doesn’t mean it’s right, and I personally find it very fucked up because the Nogitsune is to date Stiles’ worst nightmares come to life (him hurting the people he cares about), but that’s the explanation I have for you.

There's no way I saw a tik tok of someone saying the Nogitsune was "protecting" Stiles and hurting the people who hurt him.

And all the comments were agreeing. Did Stiles fans actually watch the show?? Cause how is physiologically torturing him and trying to kill his best friend and the girl he really liked protecting him??

alright but I'm going to need a little bit more of lore for this one. stiles got bit? by whom? why? why did it take so long for it to take? or did it not take? is he inmune like lydia? is it because he's a spark? were stiles and derek together before the fire? if not, did they get together before or after derek left? did he even leave?

Derek: I only said I love you to three people. My mom, my grandma, and Stiles when he was dying from the bite back before the fire. I only regret one of those

Scott: which one?

Derek: Stiles. He healed 2 days later, so I just looked like an idiot

Stiles: we're mates
