LA

This is an old one. In Nov 1995 I travelled to LA. It was my first trip to the states and the first time I travelled alone. This is my favorite picture of that trip. I wonder if this mural painting still exists. I used a Rollei DF-S 310 SE for scanning the film negatives. Don’t exspect to much of it. But it is good enough for a quick and dirty scans and it worked for me.

On the Piazza della Republica, in Florence, is a carousel with 20 horses and two gilded “king’s carriages.” This is the antique carousel of the Picci family goes around and around every day in November through May, from about 10 in the morning to about 8 at night. The carousel is run by Carlo Picci, who represents the fourth generation of the family to run a carousel.
