Swipe for #speedpaint ✨ Well, hello yeorobun! It’s been so long and some things have happened since I last posted *gets ready to drop some news*. I don’t know if you’re aware (if you follow me on twt you definitely are) but I was super lucky to pass the BTS Universe Story Pre-Writers Contest and became a Pro-Creator for the game 😱 That means that I have been writing a story in the game (it’s called All We Lost if you wanna check it out, you can also search by my username IngridCocoon) but, in any case, I worked really hard and I really couldn’t believe I passed, it was a great personal achievement. In other news, my iPad died at the end of September which meant that I lost all of my procreate files and brushes, and starting from scratch (even though it’s always a good thing) it’s been a bit of a nightmare. I have also been very busy back at work full time so all of that has made me be a little absent from instagram (sorry). Now, I just hope you like this Taehyungie and give it some love if you can. So this Yoongi was a challenging one! I know it’s been a few days since I last uploaded, I haven’t been able to keep up much with sns in general since I’ve been working on something I’m really, really excited about (not related to drawing, if you follow me on twt you probably already know 🙈). In any case, I had this Yoongi almost finished on my wips for some time so I decided to finally clean it up a little bit and give it the final touches. Back with another classic: Euphoria. I really wanted to wait for JK’s birthday to post this, but I am an impatient person when it comes to show my work - so let’s consider it an advanced birthday present for my fellow September baby (yas September babies rule!). Posting two days in a row? Who am I and what creative demon has possessed me? Since I loved the style on my last drawing so much, I thought I might try to do the same thing, different member, different video. I have to say that the classic mvs are the ones that stick to me the most, creative speaking, and I always get inspired by them. I also tried to draw this exact scene around a year ago (I’ll post it if on my stories I can find it, just like I did with the Taehyung Run one) and the difference is, well... huge, to say the least. Taehyung water scene in Run was, is and will be everything I ever wanted to draw. I remember when I got my ipad last year, this scene was the first I attempted to draw. I didn’t have a clue about which brushes I should use, nor colour and if you the difference (I’ll actually post it on my stories) you’d be amazed. I know this is not my usual style, not as realistic, but it’s one of those things where it just comes out like this. I wasn’t even trying to make him look exactly the way he looks on the reference photo either, which is strange for me because I’m really pickh about these things. But still, for once, I can say I’m kinda proud of the whole thing: colour palette included! Kinda late to the party (as always, how do you guys do it to stay on top of trends? ㅠ) but here’s my take to Daechwita Yoongi. I’m a bit sad for the drama that’s been going around about the whole Jim Jones sample so I really don’t have much to say but this: think before you speak and judge others. It’s so much easier to assume the bad side of things, but just practice putting yourself in other’s mind sometimes - it might help. So as I said on my previous post, I’ve been enjoying drawing digital on #procreate with a pencil brush and here’s a cute San to prove it 🥺 If anyone’s interested which brush I use, it’s one of the defaults and it’s called Peppermint.
