Gi-hun catches In-ho taking "Am I Gay" quiz.

In-ho says the quiz is for Jun-ho. But Gi-hun still doesn't understand why In-ho's sweating when Gi-hun sees the screen or why In-ho sounds so panicky.

In the end Gi-hun just shrugs. In-ho has always been such a weird little creature.

Gi-hun kisses In-ho’s forehead for the first time.

In-ho stands still for 3 hours straight because he doesn’t know what to do and is so shocked that his brain stops functioning.

Today's Inhun diary:

The Front Man wakes Gi-hun up in the middle of the night, having captured Gi-hun and kept him his prisoner on the island, to tell Gi-hun that all of the doors are currently not locked for the moment, due to the system's malfunction.

He tells Gi-hun it is important that, once Front Man leaves his room with the door conveniently unlocked, Gi-hun must not go to the archive.

Gi-hun narrows his eyes and asks if there has been yet another report of the Pink Soldiers having seen a ghost in the archive, and if Front Man just needs someone to go check for him because he doesn't want to do it himself nor can he admit to his own guards that he is scared.

Today's Inhun diary:

The Circle Guards have to comfort his boss, the Front Man, because he embarrassed himself in front of his crush slash enemy, Player 456.

After the rebellion, Gi-hun and Jung-bae are captured when the Front Man walks down the stairs towards them in his mask and Front Man attire.

He trips and falls down the stairs because the mask makes it hard for him to see properly.

In-ho doesn’t know where his mask lands after the fall, but it’s certainly not on his face anymore.

Gi-hun makes such a fuss about this, yelling and cursing Young-il’s name, while Jung-bae asks if he is okay and tries helping him up — because apparently helping the Front Man up when he falls down the stairs and lands on his face in front of his crush slash enemy is not in the Pink Soldiers’ job description and they believe the right thing to do in such a situation is to stand by and watch.

In-ho locks himself in his room ever since.

The Circle Guards and Jung-bae are here, comforting him.

But Gi-hun is still too mad about Young-il’s little hobby as the overseer of the death game to come see In-ho.

*In-ho prefers it this way. He’d die if he saw Gi-hun now. The whole thing is too embarrassing.

Today's Inhun diary:

In-ho uses the ouija board to talk to his dead boyfriend, Gi-hun (In-ho believes the feelings are mutual and Gi-hun's ghost does, in fact, agree to be his boyfriend, despite what Jun-ho and his therapist say).

Gi-hun's ghost tells him to fuck off.

In-ho considers this a progress, because Gi-hun finally agrees to talk to him again after a month of romantic, sexy silent treatment In-ho calls foreplay.

Today's Inhun diary:

In-ho loses his mind because he can’t find his Front Man mask.

Gi-hun says he must’ve misplaced it somewhere if he doesn’t remember where it is.

In-ho suspects Gi-hun takes it and hides it somewhere he can’t find, since Gi-hun has always disliked it whenever In-ho has to wear the mask and do his job.

Gi-hun insists he’s innocent until proven guilty.

Gi-hun sets up a TikTok account for In-ho, against In-ho's will.

In-ho thinks they're silly and stupid, and he's too old for this.

Three hours later, Gi-hun walks into their room to In-ho glued to his phone, scrolling through TikTok

There’d be times when Inho catches Gihun doomscrolling. Whether it’d be on his ex-wife’s page, his daughter’s page, or even Jungbaes page— Gihun would always be there at-least once a week, just swiping— with a dazed sheen in his eyes. In moments like these, Inho would immediately move to comfort him. Hugging him. Kissing the crown of his head. He’d feel a bit of guilt himself, though. Would feel like Gihuns state was his fault. Gihun, finally settled into his own body, would notice this— and would make an effort to smile a bit. To relax just that little bit more. In moments like these they’d sit in silence, understanding everything about the other.

love corrupting characters in my fics actually. yeah, that classic 'if it feels good then it can't be that bad' trope where a character knows it is, in fact, that bad. but the sex temptation is too good.

now apply this to enemies to lovers yaoi where an antagonist manipulates and corrupts the protagonist whom he's obsessed with, or the protagonist takes his revenge and counter attacks by manipulating and corrupting the antagonist who's ruined his life, until one of them, while on both knees, crying, goes fuck if it feels good then it can't be that bad.
