The show's saccharine pastel depiction of angels and Heaven doesn't work very well for me (only Old Testament angels with lots of wings and eyes, only hardcore!), but it was a great excuse to dress Al up in white and Charlie in blue :D

Thanks a lot. we have a 20 year old naive rich person (I know Charlie is older, but behavior) with some family issues on her mother's side who is trying to build a welcoming environment in the worst place in the world and we have a psychopathic killer from the 1930s who doesn't like children (if you think about that joke about orphans) and who has some family problems on the part of his father AND THESE TWO PERSONS HAVE AN UNPLANNED CHILD - it won’t turn out very well

Highlights from today's Cast Q&A

first time seeing them talk and I'm already in love!! Erika *is* Charlie, so bubbly and charismatic and funny and charming. I love Amir's quick wit, energy and nuanced takes and Blake gave me major ~chill, soft-spoken, thoughtful friend everyone would wanna have~ [and he could totally play Firo in a live-action adaptation]

I love this entire cast, tho! They're all so incredibly endearing, witty and *fun*. And they seem to genuinely like and appreciate each other, which is just💙💙💙

some people think writers are so eloquent and good with words, but the reality is that we can sit there with our fingers on the keyboard going, “what’s the word for non-sunlight lighting? Like, fake lighting?” and for ten minutes, all our brain will supply is “unofficial”, and we know that’s not the right word, but it’s the only word we can come up with…until finally it’s like our face got smashed into a brick wall and we remember the word we want is “artificial”.
