Chris had woken up before Josh, which had given Beth the opportunity to give him the key to the cable cars so he could lead the others out after being unceremonously kicked out. Considering how tempted she was to just let them climb down the mountain, she didn't want to think of what their older brother would have done. "I kicked everyone out," she announced to him, "Except Chris, he's coming back with the key of the cable car. And Sam, she's upstairs with Hannah." Hell of a weekend among friends, this one. She couldn't even hide her anger: "They pranked Hannah while you were asleep, Josh. Made her think Mike liked her back, completely broke her heart."

"Give her space, shut up!" Beth snapped, guarding Hannah as if her life depended on it, walking her sister back into the lodge: "Go to your room, honey." She wasn't a honey person normally, but this occasion warranted it, and she waited for Hannah to disappear upstairs before turning to the group of what were supposed to be their friends: "Pack your stuff. Call whoever is supposed to give you a ride home," she announced in her best authoritative voice, "I want you all out of my house by morning. I'll give you until 10am because I'm not a jerk, then you are locked out and on your own." And with that, she strode into the kitchen to make sure nothing else was amiss. Way to end a friendship.

I will default to the old version of Jessica's note where "Mike" says he wants to see Hannah out of the shirt he likes, otherwise Hannah's actions won't make as much sense.

thinking of making a tiny Beth sideblog (the Beth who is MY Hannah's sister and therefore knows Hannah's lore), mostly just for little Until Dawn interactions, so it would likely be ditched as soon as everybody forgets it? But it would probably be funny to finally write this superstar that I imagine is Hannah's sister lol popular, cool, very strong/you don't want to cross her because she's not backing down, but it usually doesn't come to that because she navigates situations well, positive, hence why she's friends with wildly different people (surprisingly close to Jessica??), finds funny that girls really like her friend Mike because she's not into him that way at all, fiercely protective of her siblings

-AU situation: she's not falling off the cliff that night but bringing a traumatized Hannah home because they didn't see the Monster, announcing everybody is getting kicked out and they need to call for a ride asap, and only letting Josh&Chris and possibly Sam stay? Ready to fight with everybody who tries to say anything all night long? pre game night: Then the next day Hannah gets a big fever, and when she comes back to school she's gone full dark-emo because hey, she did get recorded unbottining her shirt in an intimate moment with her first love, who she was led to believe liked her back, while all their friends hid and laughed, so you know, it IS traumatizing, even if not as much as what I put her through in this blog? So her sister is pretty damn mad, still, on top of worried because Hannah is getting into increasingly dangerous situations

game night: Next year they come back to the lodge because there were so many complex relationships and some of them want to bring the group back together or clear the air and it's time? Josh still wants to prank them maybe and makes up the whole 'let's try to be friends once more' story since it won't be in remembrance of his sisters?? I go by the assumptions that they were locked in Hannah's bedroom, got out when they heard the commotion of Chris and Ashley coming back looking for Sam: they didn't catch those two, went outside, found out about the monsters the hard way, Hannah finally got a hero moment saving Beth, and they went after Josh before everybody else did and kept staying with him, including going after the Monster that took him away.

after game night: Hannah has "calmed down" given that her priorities switched, and Beth is actually willing to salvage some of her former bonds and maybe make new ones.
