I’m really glad to be coming back and getting back on drawing for fun. life took so many turns but 2014 me was so happy drawing hxh and having friends here. because i was really alone but drawing fanart made me immensely happy ;; 

but it slowly started feeling like a chore and i lost my passion to draw while juggling work and college. i couldnt bring myself to draw due to depression and anxiety until just a few months ago when i needed my happy place the most. and I’m glad to know that i still have friends here.

I know you don't post much for hxh anymore, but I gotta say that I've always loved the wasteland au! Every once in a while, I'll try to find your blog again so I can listen to the playlist and just imagine it. I've actually been considering writing something based on it, but considering I haven't written for hxh yet it might end up being for another fandom lol. But yeah, the wasteland au was always one of my favorites and I just wanted to let you know ^-^

i appreciate this message so so much bc that au is like my baby??? with like original ideas and just borrowing the characters (and dynamics maybe) and seeing how much ppl like it really warms me inside. the thing is i am a perfectionist. like really. i get down to every single detail and try to flush it out as much as i can before sharing bc i am insecure. sorry if you arent expecting a rant but here is the thing: i put so much pressure on myself bc i hold myself at such a high standard to perform (IT SUCKS AND I HATE IT) so i was like, “until I get good at writing/composition/character design/storytelling then that’s when i will share with people!” which took out the joy of just creating a story AND I KNOW IT’S NOT THAT DEEP BUT I NEED EVERYTHING TO BE PERFECT FHBDG

but!!! the story is outlined, it has a plot and an ending i just didnt know how to present the thing??? comic style?? graphic novel? or just fic style with images to accompany it. and maybe that’s how i set myself for failure. bc i was scared of experimenting and wanted to present a final product.

all hope is not lost though!!! i have been writing just for fun and see if i could improve and maybe i will come back to it! maybe like just snippets and other character designs and see where it takes me. many people did fanart of that au and even just wanted to talk more about it with me and that genuinely made me so happy...i promise im not letting it go ;;

(also just if you wanted to know, kurapika and alluka are inside the game but leorio isn’t, and alluka plays a major part on the story bc i love her so much!!)
