Hibiscus was once the god of Stars and life outside of earth (like a Greek god if that's better to understand). Hibiscus had a lover in that life Ƹ̵̡⁠Ӝ̵̨̄Ӝ̵̨̄Ӝ̵̨̄Ƹ̵̡, they were happy together until a war broke out that hibiscus sadly died in.

He was later on reborn with some memories of his past life mainly his partner.

Thinking that he must have died and got reborn to he spent his life looking for them until he found Enoki, who was really trying to collect Hibiscuses soul but couldn't because it wasn't his time yet, with no knowledge on fighting Enoki started have a bit of small talk with hibiscus.

Hibiscus was starting to believe that he found his lost partner, thinking that Enoki was Ƹ̵̡⁠Ӝ̵̨̄Ӝ̵̨̄Ӝ̵̨̄Ƹ̵̡...

As Hibiscus and Enoki hung out more and eventually started dating Hibiscus realized that Enoki wasn't who he was looking for.

But he still loves him because he knew that his partner would do the same...
