Hello, I'm Ola, a graduate student from the faculty of science - Al-Azhar University in G@za P@lestine. I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. As you reading my message, myself and my family, “my mother, father, three sisters, and my little brother,” are trying to survive under all kinds of suffering including but not limited to fear, instability, and starvation, thirst, and poverty in northern G@za.

After 508 days of suffering, I am writing to you today with a heavy heart, in desperate need of your help. I can't describe how harsh the situation we are living in is. My family is suffering from the biting cold of winter, and we are facing a severe shortage of food and clothing. Every day feels like a lifetime, and every moment makes me feel helpless and hopeless. 💔

After the prices went up so crazy, I created this campaign to help my family provide food, water and essential needs. I know for sure that you can't help all families that want your help but at least you can help those who come across your life.

my name is Noura Al-Dahdoh.

I am 37 years old.

I work as a NURSE at Al-Sahaba Medical Complex in Gaza City.

I am a mother of four wonderful children: Obeida (17), Farah (15), Aya (14), and Mohammad (7).

We are now living a slow daily nightmare under the shadow of war.

Everything we built—our home, our dreams, our stability—was destroyed in an instant.

My husband lost his job after the development center, Bayt Al-Tanmiyah (House of Development), was destroyed.

It was our only source of income.

We lived a simple and honest life.

We raised our children on values of kindness, hard work, and hope.

But the war took everything from us—no shelter, no income, no peace.

Every night, my children ask me questions I cannot answer:

“When will we go back to school?”

“When will we eat what we love again?”

“When will we feel safe?”

I hold them close and whisper promises I fear I cannot keep.

How do you protect your children when the world forgets you exist?

We are not asking for luxury.

We are only asking to survive.

To protect our children.

To find food, water, and medicine.

To reclaim the dignity buried under the rubble.

you just got a shitty new job and you’re trying to make the best of it but you have to move to a recently active war zone and the office is literally in in shambles and your new coworker immediately makes sure you know just how much she hates you and the man who’s arguably responsible for your wife’s death shows up to give you a pep talk while a guy formerly in charge of your new department sends you a passive-aggressive (and vaguely flirtatious) Skype call that basically confirms he plans to be an ongoing pain in your ass. also gods from a metaphysical plane beyond human comprehension contact you directly so that you can explain linear time to them while also replaying one of the most traumatic moments in your life and in return they basically appoint you as figurehead for a religion you don’t even believe in. on an unrelated note, you’ve blackmailed the shadiest guy in the office to stick around so that the whole mini-economy doesn’t collapse and meanwhile the people next door are still insisting that you are the official Space Moses. it’s only been a few days
