There really wasn’t one place. The idea came to me kinda gradually, and was inspired by all kinds of things I love. But two big ones were my love of Legolas from The Lord of the Rings, and my love of X-Men.

When Harry goes to Heaven

Harry James Potter had died. The first people he see are his parents. He runs over to them and hugs them. Their parents then tell him that they need to do something and say, “Follow us when you’re ready.”

Just as Harry was about to follow them, Remus Lupin had appeared. Harry hugged him too. Then, Sirius Black was beside Remus, grinning. Harry hugged him too, nearly drowning Sirius in his tears. The two then said they needed to do something and said, “Follow us when you’re ready.” They went in the same direction as Harry’s parents did.

Harry had seen many of his deceased friends, hugged them, and each of they did the same as the others; they said they needed to do something and said, “Follow us when you’re ready.” and they all went in the same direction as Harry’s parents, Remus, and Sirius did.

Harry then sees a little boy who approaches him. This boy was not familiar to Harry, so he asked, “What’s your name, boy?”

The little boy stared at him. “Tom,” he said blankly. Harry smiled. “Nice to meet you, Tom.”

“Oh, but we’ve met before, Harry,” said the boy. Harry was amazed. “How do you know my name?”

“Potter, I’ve known you since your were born.”

Harry gaped at the boy. “Who are you, really?”

“Tom. Tom’s childhood.”

Harry raised an eyebrow. “Tom who’s childhood.”

“Silly boy! Do you not understand? I am the good that had died long ago. I am the good that has been separated from the soul of Tom Marvolo Riddle!”
