Fun fact I learned a while ago; feeling as though you “created” your system or “created” your alters is a very common way that DID tries to convince you that you don’t have trauma/don’t actually have DID.

This is what DID does. It tries to convince you that it isn’t there. Feeling like the trauma didn’t cause it means that it’s doing it’s job.

Reminder that it doesn't mean your faking when your system goes "dark" or "shuts down" (ex: zero communication, can't notice switches, no grasp on what's going on around front or internally), it's (sadly) normal, and yes you're still valid even if it stretches on for months. DID is a covert disorder, you're not supposed to know you have it, so of course it's going to retaliate and build higher/thicker dissociative barriers when you start poking around. It's just trying to protect you, even if it's got a few things wrong, so please be gentle with yourself, it won't always be this hard

I think the lonely part of my existence is that I scare people. My source, Lisa Rowe, makes others immediately assume I'm some monster. Yes, I'm capable of hurting others, but so is everyone else. My source should not be how you view me, I should not be isolated because my source is 'evil' (She's not, she's honestly just sick). i don't think we really acknowledge how scary it is being a host who doesn't remember the system's trauma. you know about your system, you know you have traumas you don't understand, and you know a couple triggers, but the information is being withheld from you. people having flashbacks inside while you lay there on the verge of tears, stuck in a trance. the system's rushing to cover your eyes but you can still hear the screaming. pushing a little bit too far because you can't stand not knowing and then regretting it because now your closest friends in the system are pissed at you and won't talk to you other than when they're trying to gaslight you. and then you can't even be mad at them because you know they're just doing their jobs and protecting you from things you can't handle yet. but that doesn't mean it doesn't suck.

I looked up the meaning of the word “endogenic” because I was kind of wondering where the word came from and its original meaning. I know that words can have multiple definitions, but the one in the screenshot below, is the only one I found for the word “endogenic.” I checked other dictionaries and sites, but this is the only one that showed up. Is it because “endo” mean’s roughly “from within”?

Idk its a dumb name for a dumb idea.
