i’m gonna cry it’s raining right now and i just passed by a family where both parents were without an umbrella but their kid who couldn’t have been older than like 3-4 was proudly holding this GIANT umbrella whose diameter was as tall (if not taller) as the kid. both the parents were getting absolutely drenched but u could tell the kid was just so happy to have an “adult” task and carry the umbrella themselves and i think that sacrifice is what love is all about

I know I’ve posted about this but I still think about the time I was a dog groomer in the middle of nowhere and that old lady called in and said she had a wolf and we were like whatever and booked her because sooo many people who say they even have wolf crosses actually just have GSD/malamute crosses or whatever so she came in and it was actually a wolf and I was like ma’am idk if I can bathe your wolf actually and she was like I told you it was a wolf and I was like I mean. kind of sucks that himbo is like a cute fun word that describes a likeable dumb sexy guy that people use in a positive jokey way whereas bimbo is a hugely misogynistic derisive term from pornography that declares a woman to be a brainless sex object. sorta makes himbo feel like less of a cute word and reminds you that even when you’re trying to apply the same objectification to men it doesn’t stick nearly the same way bc they aren’t dehumanized and derided the same way women are, not even close
