help ahmed feed gaza's starving children

good morning everyone! i hope you are doing well. we here at kfsf have worked with our friend, ahmed, for almost a full year now creating large-scale campaigns that focus on providing food and other forms of relief to a local refugee camp. please scroll through the #ahmed tag on my page to see our previous campaigns - we have done quite a few so far. or go through kfsf's website linked above!

we are returning to you all with a similar campaign. as you may already know, a man-made famine is starving gaza right now. many people have gone days without eating, relying solely on IVs of electrolytes, and are barely able to access clean water due to the occupation and bombardment of the gaza strip. although israel has started to let some amount of food into gaza in this past week or so, food is still scarce and prices are high. prices also fluctuate quickly.

we at kfsf are hoping to help ahmed raise $1500 in short order to feed the people of his local refugee camp of about 200-250 people, many of whom are children. we would greatly appreciate your support in this endeavor!

how it works:

per ahmed’s request, simk and i are collecting money in a paypal campaign on his behalf. the money that is collected will be sent via wire transfer to ahmed, and it generally takes 3-5 days to arrive if there are no exigent circumstances.

once the money arrives, ahmed will take videos and photos to document the process of buying and cooking food for everyone. he has a team of around 8 people who all do this for absolutely nothing, so please be aware that we are asking a lot of them! i will share selected videos and photos on my blog so that you all can see what we can do with our collective efforts!

a small note here: to preserve the privacy and dignity of the displaced, and to avoid issues with the tumblr staff, i will be careful with what i choose to show publicly. ahmed will also refrain from publishing his own photos on social media for this same reason. if you have any other specific requests you would like to see as proof of your donation going to good use, please DM me.
