My favorite trend of recent years is people dressing up like little goblins and creatures, not even like a costume with pointy ears or a sword or anything, but just dressing casually like they live in a hollow log near a dump, or somewhere in the middle the woods, with old scrap metal for accessories and moss growing on their hair. i find it delightful :)
