In the howlin' wind comes a stinging rain See it driving nails into the souls on the tree of pain U2 - Bullet The Blue Sky🎵 When we called upon our brilliant friends @BnW_City to join us in challenging you all to create some musical magic in mono, we anticipated a great showing. You all certainly didn't disappoint as the submissions to #BnW_City_Instatune were nothing short of captivating🎵 What we didn't expect, however, is that when judges from both communities got together one entry made everyone's short list. This dramatic photo by @toim4woin unanimously drew us in and so perfectly captured the stinging rain and howling wind in U2's Bullet The Blue Sky🎵 Andy, every detail was right on the mark in this cracking shot: pure story-telling artistry. In a dream I was crossing African plains An elephant's graveyard, a bone dry place And I was wondering why there was no more rain And in a pile of bones, I saw your face Is it too late baby? As promised, today we share with you the king of kings, our top dog from #Instatune_Animals, and we think you'll agree it's better than alright, it's elephantastic🐘 This incredible pairing provided by @malcontent247 shows such an adept ability to render his chosen tune in a visual way. Starting with a great photo from Kenya, his spare edit made us feel we were witnessing first-hand as the elephant walked through a bone dry place of desolation, each step punctuated by the drumbeat. This minimal approach was exactly what the music required, and we're beyond pleased to award it our latest and greatest 🎵🐘🏆#Instatune_Encore🏆🎵 Massive props and thunderous applause 👏👏👏 all around🎵 Well folks, that's that for animals. We'd tell you it's time to Cage the Elephant but it IS the weekend after all- so you're free to go a bit wild.
