For the 2nd day of IRLstuck, we have an artist's statement and sketch from @insufferablemod !

"When I started thinking of putting the homestuck characters into real life places I ofc had to pick something close to home.

When going through my list of potential ideas this location was immediately near the top, both because it fit Terezi so perfectly in color and theme(literally being named Drekinn(The Dragon)and because i grew up near this little corner shop so it's a deeply nostalgic place to me. And continuing with the childhood nostalgia theme I gave them the classic green "bland í poka"(pick n mix) bag from when I was a kid :3"

For the 3rd day of IRLstuck, @calware was kind enough to tell us some cool things about her piece!

"greenhouses are one of my favorite things Of All Time, so it wasn't hard to decide which concept i wanted to use for my piece. i had visited the smithsonian botanic gardens last year, which have a huge glass building with windows that remind me of those in a greenhouse, so i used photos i took as references. the indoor section of the garden is my favorite; while i wanted to show some plants, i also wanted most of the backdrop to be the beautiful glass windows that make up the entire building."
