"Uhm, Poe?" Finn asks, rubbing his arm nervously. They'd had their first kiss the night before, unexpected but lovely. The former stormtrooper wonders how often that can happen. "Did you maybe, uh.. Do you wanna kiss again?" Is it weird to ask? [freakxnasty]

Poe has this awful, sinking feeling when Finn shows up at the door to his room, like his stomach just dropped into freefall. The kiss has been replaying in his mind non-stop since it happened- he even dreamed about it (as if he needed any further indication that he’s done for when it comes to Finn). And underneath it all? A lingering fear that he did something wrong- pushed too far, maybe. That Finn is here to tell him I didn’t like that or it can’t happen again.

He’s prepared for the worst when he lifts his chin and nods for Finn to speak. His mouth is dry. Give him a minute.

                                                         ‘Do you wanna kiss again?’

“What?” Poe stares at him, incredulous, the corners of his mouth starting to tug up into a grin. Seeing the look on Finn’s face, he holds his hands up reassuringly, laughing as he springs to his feet. “No no no, I’m not- that’s not a ‘no’, buddy, I just didn’t ah... expect...” He’s all bright, dark eyes and thick lashes as he gazes eagerly at Finn, beckoning to him with both hands. 

“You sure you wanna kiss me again?” There’s a hint of teasing behind it, but his heart feels like it’s about to thump out of his chest.

I wasn’t totally straight-edge, ’cause I ate meat. But no drugs, no alcohol, no sex—all that stuff. In a way, it became more of a badge of individuality. I was the guy that didn’t do that. After about 18, things started shedding pretty quickly. Yeah, all of that’s been shed.
