Unhygienic fresh house
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
City is under health threat. The meat shops in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu are quite unhygienic. The fresh houses do not give much importance on cleanliness. We can hardly find neat and clean fresh house in the city. Storage system is poor. Meat are placed openly. The weapons are not clean. Butcher's don't use gloves on their hand. says, meat shouldn’t be kept openly. But, there are flies all around in the meat. Butchers do not clean their hands. People are buying those meats and unaware of health issues. Local Health Assistant Shivajung Thapa is running a medical hall. He says, use of unhygienic meat leads to several communicable diseases. 'Related authorities like Municipality, Ward and Consumer's Forum should do regular monitoring and regulate the fresh houses to keep people healthy,' he says.

In the 21st century English learning is being popular but still many Nepali students is following Sanskrit education. Of course, language is not simply a medium of communication, but a strong identity of any community.

A lot of youths in Nepal are attracted towards organic farming along with increased consumers interest and demand in organic vegetables. Despite this increase in interest, those interested are unaware of the financial grant provided by the government. There are a lot of farmers who are inclined towards organic farming via the means of tunnel farming. Chin Bahadur Tamang, a 30 years old farmer from Sindhupalchowk is in agriculture since long. A lot of his friends have chosen to go for foreign employment, but he has rather chosen to stay in his homeland and do organic farming. Despite his keen interest and dedication for organic farming, he is unaware of the 33.7 billion  grant (Nepalese Rupees) allocated by the government for fiscal year 2075/76 in order to assist those farmers. Had he known about the grant, he could have had the opportunity to finance some of the expenditure via government means and not invest 800,000 NPR from his own self. In his 4 Ropanis of tunnel farming, he harvests Cauliflower, beans etc along with some seasonal vegetables. The word of mouth of organic products is so high and is considered a very healthy alternative to inorganic products. If the government could inform and support the youths towards farming in homeland, a lot of youths who are currently working abroad could get a feasible assurance that financial independence is possible in Nepal as well.
