I have a question for Ms. Von Karma. What are your thoughts on the unravelling of the dl-6 incident? Any insights?

Maya: Oh! Uh... we don't have to talk about it if you don't want to Franzy.

Franziska: No, it is probably for the best that I do so.

Maya: Are you sure? You don't have to.

Franziska: No I will answer. It was... something I had no interest in thinking too hard about at the time. I was far too focused with being like my father, thus I did not allow myself to dwell on it. However, while I had been working with Interpol I found myself with more time properly process what had really occurred. I suppose I was just too stubborn at the time to believe he had actually done it. When I had returned for that incident at the hazakura temple I was still trying to suppress how I was handling everything. Now that the dust has settled, I truly understand what has occurred and I... can't help but feel a modicum of shame to be bearing his title of von Karma, given all the harm he was at the root of.

Maya: Fran...

Franziska: Well that is quite the personal question, one with a very difficult answer... I suppose...

Franziska: Maya is one of the most important people in my life. She really cares and is endlessly curious, occasionally to her own detriment. She's determined and strong, withstanding most adversity as though it was nothing.

Franziska: She's honestly quite inspiring, and it's been quite an honor to know her...

Franziska: I... truly... enjoy her presence in my life... She is my sonnenschein

Your hair looks so cool!! When did you change it?

Franziska: Danke, it is actually just my natural hair. I kept it rather unchanged from when I was younger.

Maya: It is a lot fluffier.

Franziska: That is because I stopped straightening it out.

Maya: WAIT YOU STRAIGHTENED YOUR HAIR? So it's like naturally fluffy???

Franziska: Yes, indeed.

Maya: Never would have pictured the "great Manfred von Karma" to be a fluffy haired guy!

Franziska: He was not. It is from my mother's side of the family I believe. I just straightened it so it would be more like my papa's.

Maya: I'm loving the fluffiness though! It's very cute!

Franziska: I quite enjoy it too.

Hi Franziska! How are you? Do you know how Miles is doing as well?

Franziska: I have found myself well recently. I have been really enjoying living here and taking on some cases as of late.

Maya: AND you got your own condo a while ago!

Franziska: Of course, it has been nice and quiet on my end but I have been getting used to that. It certainly helps that my living arrangement has an enjoyable presence. I have missed my sonnenschein though over time.

Maya: Awwww you big softie!

Franziska: As for Miles, He should be on his way back soon enough.

Maya: Oh yeah! By the way Nick TOTALLY bought that whole "he's not gonna be back for a while" thing.

Franziska: As expected.

Maya: I just hope he'll come back soon enough for Edgeworth to show up and surprise him! He'll be SO excited!

To Maya: Do you think Phoenix and Edgeworth are ever going to get together? They have literally been pinning on each other for years and none of them said anything so it has to be annoying for you to witness all their flirting.

Maya: ...

Maya: Honestly...? no. Like you said, it's gone on for years now that I just... don't know what to think. I'd like to think they can just get over themselves and whatnot but it's hard to actually believe they will on their own. It's kinda hard to watch sometimes since Nick is so heavily in denial over it all. I just don't know what to do without being completely railroady or transparent. I just wish that either they both come to their senses or someone else tries to step in because it's getting ridiculous. I know I'm not completely one to judge in that aspect but from what I know, this has gone on long before I was even around to witness it. I just hope something happens y'know?

Speaking of Franziska, how is she doing lately?

Maya: Oh Fran's doing great! Me and her just went on a grocery run around 3 hours ago. She doesn't like to go to the store on her own for whatever reason, or at least that's what she told me. I don't really need any groceries since we have our own produce at Kurain village so it's all for her condo. She basically lives here in the states now and it's nice having her around and stuff. We really started to talk more and connect after she helped me get out of that... situation... at hazakura temple. She seemed really worried about me after all of that... she didn't wanna admit that she was though of course. So yeah! She's great! or... well... doing great... heheh

Are you okay? Where'd Phoenix run off to?

I'm curious though, who were you calling?

Maya: Yeah I'm okay. It's just a little concerning is all. I have no clue where he's going but I think it's pretty obvious who he's looking for. Zero idea how he's gonna find her though, especially with her being out of prison and all. I'm, admittedly, a little worried though. I can't imagine she's all too happy about him not visiting that much. I know I wouldn't be.

Maya: I feel a little awkward being in house alone. Especially since Trucy moved out and whatnot so I called Franziska to come over. She only just got up from her nap though so she might be a bit. I just hope I didn't bother her too much... I was just over at her apartment like 3 hours ago.

Hey Phoenix, have you spoken to Iris since the incident at Hazakura Temple?

Maya: uh... Nick?

Phoenix: Oh... right uh... I did for a while.

Maya: Yeah, when was the last time you visited her?

Phoenix: I don't... remember.

Maya: Wait, what? I thought you said you were gonna visit her often.

Phoenix: I mean... again, i did for a while but... I don't really remember when I stopped going.

Maya: She should be out of prison right? Her sentence was only 10 years I think...

Phoenix: I guess so...

Maya: You'd think she'd try and contact you directly right? Considering her pretty blatant feelings for you and all.

Phoenix: Wait... what?

Maya: You didn't know?

Phoenix: ...no

Phoenix: I need to talk to her again.

Question for Maya! What's your favorite installment in the Steel Samurai series?

Maya: Well I really enjoy the original 1999 show! But in terms of movies I really liked The Steel Samurai and The Saviors of Olde Tokyo! That was the 2004 movie i think... I don't know why they didn't show it in theaters though, it was great! I think all the callbacks to the '89 and '92 shows were great and the introduction of some of the comic original characters were hype! And I like how the Evil Magistrate wasn't actually the big bad in that one and FINALLY letting the Bionic Fennec make an appearance. It was just a really fun movie, whether it was really that good or not. The critics are just wrong on that one!

Hey, do you happen to know where Miles is at the moment? What about Franzy?

Phoenix: Miles told me he was visiting Kay today. I think she lives somewhere in Italy now.

Maya: Wow! I've always heard great things about Italy! I wonder if the burgers there are good.

Phoenix: Why would the burgers in Italy be good

Maya: Is that not where they're from?

Phoenix: I'm pretty sure that's Germany

Maya: Tomato Potato! I just know the food in Italy is supposedly amazing!

Phoenix: Speaking of Germany, is Franziska ever going back there?

Maya: Oh yeah, she hasn't decided yet but according to her "she visits the states so often that she basically lives here" or something.

Phoenix: I thought she hated it here.

Maya: THAT'S WHAT I SAID! and then she just said she "liked some of the smaller aspects" and that she "has her reasons to stay.

Phoenix: ...I'll refrain from commenting

Maya: At the moment though she's taking a nap at her condo. We just got back from getting her groceries and stuff and she was feeling drowsy so I left.

Phoenix: uhhh that's a difficult question to answer

Maya: Not because we don't have answers mind you but we're EXTREMELY biased

Maya: I literally just got back from hanging out with Franzy.

To phoenix

out of all of your friends, who would you trust most to babysit trucy? (in this scenario let's say when trucy was younger and is incapable of taking care of herself yet)

Phoenix: Miles, hands down. He's the one person I'd trust most with something like that. I used to let Maya babysit her since Miles was all the way in Europe at the time but whenever he was around he'd offer to babysit as needed. Trucy adores him too, she'd always ask when he'd visit again. If she was little again then I'd definitely make sure they spend more time together.

Maya: Doesn't Edgeworth also go to her magic shows?

Phoenix: Oh yeah, he never wants to admit it but he loves 'em. Caught him recording one of them once. It's hard to be discrete though with those bulky recording cameras he uses.

Maya: You're one to talk with a phone like yours.

Phoenix: Yeah yeah whatever. Point is, Miles is Trucy's favorite uncle and I'd trust him the most with looking after her.

Maya [mumbled]: favorite uncle? more like favorite dad...

HI MAYA!!! How's life as the master?

Maya: It's been okay, a little hectic from time to time of course and I get pulled into a lot of messes but overall it's okay! That place functions pretty well regardless of if I'm there or not. I still put Pearly in charge for a little while during my visit. Phoenix: Are you sure Pearls can handle it? I mean, she only just turned 18 like 4 months ago. Maya: She insisted on it! She wanted to prove that she could run the place for a while as my apprentice or something! It's almost like she wanted me out of there as quick as possible. Phoenix: Let's hope that's not her mother's influence transferring genetically. Maya: She's a good kid! I doubt she'd ever be like that! Phoenix: You're right but I hope she's doing okay being in charge and all.
