out of all of your friends, who would you trust most to babysit trucy? (in this scenario let's say when trucy was younger and is incapable of taking care of herself yet)

Phoenix: Miles, hands down. He's the one person I'd trust most with something like that. I used to let Maya babysit her since Miles was all the way in Europe at the time but whenever he was around he'd offer to babysit as needed. Trucy adores him too, she'd always ask when he'd visit again. If she was little again then I'd definitely make sure they spend more time together.

Maya: Doesn't Edgeworth also go to her magic shows?

Phoenix: Oh yeah, he never wants to admit it but he loves 'em. Caught him recording one of them once. It's hard to be discrete though with those bulky recording cameras he uses.

Maya: You're one to talk with a phone like yours.

Phoenix: Yeah yeah whatever. Point is, Miles is Trucy's favorite uncle and I'd trust him the most with looking after her.

Maya [mumbled]: favorite uncle? more like favorite dad...

Phoenix: What?

*As soon as he was teleported to the office space, Singularity started to become nervous. Which was odd. Usually he was confident, knew how to handle himself in a social situation. But this? This was a lot. He had never been for an interview before. Why would he have? It was not something he would have ever needed to go through before.

As Abbadon gestured to the seat, Singularity took it but could feel his hand shake as he grabbed the chair. He listened intently to the Arceus’s voice. He was a little saddened that Galadriel had her eyes on another but it was to be expected. He just wanted to try. Even if she didn’t accept him to be hers, he at least wanted one victory. And that victory would have to be with her father. Singularity began to feel his mouth become dry. Again, strange considering how confident he usually was. He felt unprepared.*

*Singularity found it difficult for the words to come out. He was probably embarrassing himself in front of the powerful god in front of him. He could feel his cheeks turn red and his heart pound in his chest. He should have taken some water in with him. Taking a shaky breath to calm himself, he spoke.*

Singularity: I…erm…would like to thank you for hearing me out, Abbadon sir. F-forgive me for my nervousness. This usually isn’t like me. Erm…y-your daughter. Seeing her in person was certainly something. She really did catch my eye. It wasn’t just her beauty t-that was the first thing I noticed. It was her confident spirit that I was drawn to. A quality such as that is something I truly admire in a person. Definitely a strong personality too. She truly does seem wonderful. Honestly, she seems like someone who would be able to keep me in line but also knows when to have a little fun, haha. I quite enjoy her ferocity too. Again, it makes me respect her as the strong and powerful Pokémon she is and I see these qualities as something I could learn from.

Singularity: I will admit, I’m not a perfect Giratina by any stretch of the imagination. I have done many terrible things which has lead to some form of destruction. But, I’m learning from my mistakes. I’m learning to be better. I feel she may be able to help me with that.

I am aware that she has had a previous relationship which had ended poorly. Relationships are a two-sided process. I would never want her to feel as she would have done back then. Many may say that they would want to treat the person they were attempting to court like a goddess or a queen. But, at the end of the day, if I were to end up in a relationship with her, I would want to treat her as an equal.

*His confidence grew and allowed him to look Abbadon in the eyes. He needed this man to know he was serious about this.*

Treat her not only as someone who I can ask for guidance and support from, but also offer that in return. I want to be that someone who she can cry on if she needs it, someone who can offer her comfort when things get tough, who she can ask for space when she wants it. I want to be someone who knows her boundaries and respects them. Someone who can make her laugh so I can see that radiant smile I know she has. I would want this partnership to benefit the both of us and help us to both become better Pokémon. And ultimately, I just want to make her happy.

I can see that you and Galadriel have a strong relationship with each other, considering she trusts you to judge her potential partners. It’s wonderful to see that. I…erm…don’t have that strong of a relationship with my father as you do so it makes me happy to see that she does. I suppose even if I don’t end up winning your approval, I’ll at least know she has a strong father figure who will make sure she gets the opportunity to be with someone who will give her what she needs.

*Singularity took a deep breath out. This was so much for him. This man reminded him of his father. Incredibly strict. Singularity guessed the anxiety was partially from the similarities. He wasn’t feeling confident with what he had said. He wasn’t confident that it would be good enough. But, at least he tried and at least he was honest. And that’s all anyone could ask for, right?*

Sparklecare Actor AU where most characters are a friend of or know of @sparklecarehospital and helped to take part in their idea and Kittycorn is the writer/director

The drawings were made in April (which is why they look so different since I was still trying to figure out how to adapt the characters to my own style), but this AU was first made 2 years ago based on a similar AU done with /Adventure//Time/

I wanted to ask about posting it first since I didn’t want it to seem like this wasn’t taking the message of the comic seriously? or downplaying the events that happened? Just know, that isn’t my intent, I just wanted to make an Actor AU of this comic since I liked the idea of the team aspect of it, if that makes sense.

Btw, Carrie’s irises aren’t red because in this AU, the red eyes are from wearing contacts

The first 3 drawings are of a hypothetical interview and the other two are some “behind-the-scenes” stuff. I noticed that sometimes interviews have a poster of the show behind them, so I tried to replicate that.

Look I just want them to be okay

Some notes about the AU:

- It’s not on a major network, it’s a web series on KneeTube

- Things like the story arcs on the askblog and other things like that can be interpreted like this: Kissmas arc, Haunted arc, and any other pages made for a holiday = holiday specials/minisodes /// stories like Fact or Fiction = read alouds by the actors themselves, accompanied with background noise, narration, and sound effects, etc.

- I think most of the characters in this AU would have Bummr accounts like they do on the hospital computer, not sure if I should still keep their usernames as they are now or change them to things like @realbarryill, @realunicornelius, and the others

- Each “series” would be considered a season and each volume would be an episode, for example, Everything Sucks would be considered Season 1, ES: And Nobody’s Talking About It! would be episode 1, ES: This and That Too would be episode 2, etc. (I think it would be one of those drama shows with almost hour-long episodes, there’s a lot going on)

Hello Grumplr! You may recognize me as that one infamous journalist who....bonked up the whole Grumpfoot story ahah....BUT THIS IS DIFFERENT! I am here on an island called Snacktooth- I came to share the story of Bugsnax- an almost mythical species of bug and snack combined- with the world famous Lizbert Megafig!

We recently found this washed up laptop on the shore and I figured it might've been fun to record VIDEO evidence of our going ons and such but uh...Well it wasn't working. Blog Update: First posts, projected activities, Syllabus

Hey Builders! As the blog is still being built as we go, in accordance with the needs of the community - I will spend the weekend working on feedback as well as setting up the blog's Syllabus. The Syllabus will be a dictionary of terminology and principles that we discuss here on the blog. The Syllabus will contain the topics in alphabetical order with small descriptions and links to the posts that elaborate on them. The first few terms will be added during the weekend, but the Syllabus will of course be updated continuously to keep up with the content on the blog. That way you can always consult the Syllabus if you're in doubt about whether or not a question you want to ask has been discussed before. We will also be directing asks about already discussed topics to the Syllabus as it comes along.

On a quick side note: I'm working on some of the last introductory blog posts that I want out of the way before we start the activities proper here on Build-Guild. I've been brainstorming a wealth of topics to cover here on BuildGuild before the launch and now I am getting closer to a cohesive as to what I believe I'll be able to provide on this blog. My ideas are as follows: - Essays - Book reviews: Books on writing, concept art, art and design - Discussion of fictional worlds: Worldbuilding cases in pop.media - Exercises/prompts + community showcases - Feedback on designs and ideas through our askblog - Portfolio reviews ( geared towards art-school applications ) - Interviews with people from the field: community requests + my own contacts Let me know if there's anything, in particular, you would like to see here on BuildGuild by putting an ask in the ask-box or replying to this post :)

Hi everyone! The Askblog Council speaking here! After a lot of brainstorming and discussion, we decided to try out a new segment for Harmonia University’s blog!

The Askblog Council presents….Professor Interviews!

The title says it all! We will approach a professor at the university and ask them some questions. But, we will need some help from you guys! For a week, we will take questions directed at the interviewee and eventually compile some of them with the interviewee’s responses!

It could be a great way to learn a bit about the professors, about their interests, thoughts on everyday things, their work, and more!

At the end of the week, we will hold a nomination session for people to vote on who we should bug next!

This segment will start out in an experimental stage. We don’t have any plans on doing the segment on a regular basis yet. We will do a couple to see how interested people are in the segment. If there’s interest, we’ll do it a bit more often! And we will also see about interviewing fellow students as well!

We hope you’re excited for this segment and we hope it’ll be a valuable experience for everyone! We’ve selected someone for the first session and we’ll start this week. Thank you for tuning into Harmonia University!

Has Jerry ever had the opportunity to meet other types of vampires from other countries and cultures? 🤔

"Plenty, years and years ago when more vampires were around. There used to be far more of them that walked this place. Ever wondered how people just mysteriously disappeared? Especially throughout history? Vampires." He rested his hands on his knees and leaned forward, silver necklace jingling a little. "I lived in the Mediterranean for most of my life. Though I spread out sometimes. When my clan was wiped out, I jumped all over the world. Europe was gorgeous, the vampires there were more traditional. Deathly afraid of crosses, I can touch them when people don't believe--but these vampires just about shit themselves when they see anything resembling a cross." He laughed warmly, fond memories passing over this mind. "Elegance was their forte, it was obvious by how they dressed and all that."

"Europe had the oldest vampires, I visited Asia briefly and found very few there, most being young. They were kind to me, more so than the European bloodsuckers. Funny enough, they hated sleeping in coffins." He took a sip from a tall glass, red as blood. His fangs made a soft tapping as they hooked against the lip from instinct. "American vampires were kind of bland, not a lot of style. Except for the fact that I stopped by New Orleans. I found some interesting vampires there, not very humble." He drained the glass of the life fluid, tongue gliding along his bottom lip to rid it of the leftovers.

"Nowadays, I haven't seen any. I think the humans drowned us all out or something. Who knows, maybe I am the only one?" His lips lifted into a bit of a smile, canines sinking away back into mortal looking teeth. His hazels returned to their places, irises fading into view.

"Wouldn't that be a funny thought?"
