I can't stop thinking about how you can own a house in dd2 and sleep for free in it, the 2 hired pawns won't come in, but your own pawn lives in it and smiles at you when you wake up, there's 1 bed; and I keep making up little small stories of respite for the arisen and pawn. This is a world that is relentless to the arisen: you cannot run from it, you cannot escape it, you must reckon with the dragon's dogma; become the dragon or become chakravartin. But you are allowed the very brief mercy of owning a home and sleeping in it. you too, human, once. Just fell to my knees.
