Having a passion for something brings out the best in us. In the daily grind, we can forget to make time for the things that give us inner satisfaction and joy. This blog is MY joy.

“The elephant’s survival is in jeopardy across Africa. Poaching is high due to the rising price of ivory. In addition, elephants are losing their habitat and are increasingly coming into conflict with people and this causes retaliation and death”, says Dr Paula Kahumbu, the CEO of Wildlife Direct.

Running from Muizenberg to Cape Point, False Bay is one of the largest bays along the South African coastline.
The water this side of the Cape is warmer and occasionally, you will find surfer’s heads bobbing up and down as they catch a few waves. I explored the area in an arty and colourful minibus with Kiff Kombi Tours.

Gent: Unique architecture, opera houses, a handful of museums, ancient churches and countless bridges. Two years ago, this day Zsuzsana and I woke up, we hopped on a train and found ourselves in Ghent and Antwerp. The highlight of that trip was staying in a girl's hostel. Possibly the cheapest form of accommodation yet so rewarding because we made friends with a lovely group of girls.
