Introducing my OCs and their story for the first time bc im bored!

There is a general storyline, but I want to make it more like an omnibus, so it doesn’t have a super detailed plot. Here’s the basic setting:

For some reason, Earth is destroyed and all humans go extinct. Then, the God (who never actually appears in the story) brings back eight people who lived in different times and places. The God doesn’t want the same mistake to happen again—maybe because it’s too tiring, or maybe because it was too sad. So, they bring these people together to get some sort of advice.

The eight people end up in a strange space with a round table and their own rooms. It’s like a public discussion room. They don’t remember their past lives, but they still have their old personalities and the knowledge about the objects they used while being alive. Before they can panic, weird things start to happen every two days—like a lion falling from the ceiling, or someone suddenly getting older or younger.

In short: It’s a story about eight selfish idiots trying to deal with all this crazy stuff!

Each time the god learns something (still never shows up), the story moves forward little by little.

That’s it!

I got ideas from Plato’s theory of Ideas, John Rawls’ veil of ignorance, and other ethics about public discussion cus they were interesting. Still working on the characters!

it’s honestly crazy that like. in theory literary icon jean valjean would do crazy numbers on tumblr, fanfics, etc. he’s a dad. he’s canonically hot and ripped. he has a tragic backstory and self esteem issues. he’s got nuclear levels of catholic guilt. he’s even unmarried so you can old man yaoify him to your heart’s content. man was built in the blorbo factory. but the book he’s in happens to have 20 college age twinks and the musical film based on the book came out in 2012, creating the perfect storm of oncelerfication that defines the fandom at large to this very day. anyway they could never make me shut the fuck up about you jean valjean
