ya’ll do not know how SAD season 5 episode 2 made me feel

i know there were a ton of other sad scenes in the show and i’m probably biased bc entrapta is my favourite character but… HOLY SHIT.. i had to pause and step back MULTIPLE times. entrapta’s mistreatment really made me sad and even a little bit angry at times

first off, mermista literally SLAPPED HER HAND ON HER MOUTH??? AFTER SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT HOW MUCH SHE LOVED SPACE???

MAN?? WHAT??? that isn’t even the worst part though. then we got perfuma dragging her on a whole ass LEASH

then, probably the BIGGEST mistreatment in the entire show was THIS

like.. for them preaching all about how friendship is so important.. yeah that clearly wasn’t applied here LOL

apart from that, entrapta’s reactions back to these statements makes me INCREDIBLY SAD

they literally pushed her to the point where she had to scream “I’m sorry I mess everything up!” LIKE… WHAT???????? IF SOMEONE LIKE ENTRAPTA, WHO IS USUALLY VERY CHEERFUL AND NOT AFRAID TO BE HERSELF SAYS THAT, YOU KNOW YOU WENT WAAAAYYY TOO FAR

and you know what also upsets me??? WHY WASN’T SCORPIA DEFENDING HER??? isn’t she like.. the mom friend of the group?? the hugger?? she literally said that entrapta was her first real friend she’s ever had and yet she’s doing nothing to help (which is still better than insulting her like the rest of them were but.. y’know…)

anyway after this scene i can conclude that entrapta is definitely the most mature out of everyone (that hordak scene back in s4 was already enough proof but here’s more)

i’m honestly hoping to believe that this was just a misunderstanding on the princesses’ part because after entrapta explained herself, they did start to become lighter on her and even said that they had her back at the end of the episode. and after that episode, i don’t think we saw too much mistreatment??? i think it did get better but… yeah this episode made me really sad
