The role plastic products play in the daily lives of people all over the world is interminable. We could throw statistics at you all day long (e.g. Upwards of 300 MILLION tons of plastic are consumed each year), but the impact of these numbers border on inconceivable.

For those living on the coasts, a mere walk on the beach can give anyone insight into how staggering our addiction to plastic has become as bottles, cans, bags, lids and straws (just to name a few) are ever-present. In other areas that insight is more poignant as the remains of animal carcasses can frequently be observed; the plastic debris that many of them ingested or became entangled in still visible long after their death. Sadly, an overwhelming amount of plastic pollution isn’t even visible to the human eye, with much of the pollution occurring out at sea or on a microscopic level.

The short-lived use of millions of tons of plastic is, quite simply, unsustainable and dangerous. We have only begun to see the far-reaching consequences of plastic pollution and how it affects all living things. According to a study from Plymouth University, plastic pollution affects at least 700 marine species, while some estimates suggest that at least 100 million marine mammals are killed each year from plastic pollution. Here are some of the marine species most deeply impacted by plastic pollution.

Άνθρωπος του κάποτε.

-Σου φαίνομαι περιεργος παλικαρι μου?

- Ανάλογα τι βιβλίο διαβάζετε-

- Χαχαχα μου αρέσεις.

Ξες τα εγγόνια μου με λενε περίεργο.

Ειναι μικρά ακομα , αλλα κάθε φορά που σταματάμε και ανοίγω βιβλία γελάνε.

- Όταν μεγαλώσουν θα καταλάβουν. Ειναι η ηλικία μην τα αδικειτε.

- Δεν τα αδικώ αγορι μου.

Τα αγαπώ.

Θέλω να βλέπουν τον παππού τους οπως πρεπει.

Κάθε μεγάλος κίνδυνος άρχισε σαν κάτι που μισούν τα γερόντια και γελάνε μαζί τους οι νέοι.

Δεν θέλω να σου κάνω κήρυγμα.

Τα κινητά σας, οι τηλεοράσεις σας ,όλα εύκολα, όλα αρκετα για να μην σκέφτεστε.

Δεν θέλουν να σκέφτεστε αγορι μου.

- Δίκιο έχετε.

- Εσυ θα μου πεις, γιατί να μην θέλουν να σκέφτεστε?

- Ειλικρινά, δεν ξέρω.

- Γιατί σας θέλουν απο κάτω αγορι μου.

Θέλουν να παίζουν μουσική και εσείς να χορεύετε οπως παει ο ρυθμός τους.

Σας τα έχουν δώσει όλα.

Έτσι νομίζετε.

Και κάπου στην πορεία,

χάσατε τους εαυτούς σας.

Ειστε τα κινητά σας ,οι τηλεοράσεις σας, τα ρούχα σας.

Κάποτε ήμασταν τα βιβλία μας, οι γνώσεις μας…

Να διαβάζεις αγορι μου.

Να μαθαίνεις και να κοιτάς.

Να είσαι άνθρωπος του κάποτε.

Μάθε να εκτιμάς και όλα θα γυρίσουν σε εσένα.

Να προσέχετε.

Ένα βράδυ καθώς η βροχή έπεφτε στο χώμα και τα αρώματα του βρεγμένου εδάφους γέμιζαν τον τόπο έτσι άρχισαν να γεμίζουν το μυαλό μου και οι αναμνήσεις. Έφτιαχνα εικόνες από τη ζωή μου αυτές ήταν ζοφερές και ζωντανές καθώς πλημύριζαν το μυαλό και την καρδία. Άρχισαν να έρχονται σαν σφαίρες όπως στο εκτελεστικό απόσπασμα  τα λάθη, οι  εγωισμοί , οι ηττοπάθειες  και ανασφάλειες μου. Έβλεπα να περάνε από μπροστά μου όσα ήθελα να κάνω και δίστασα αναλογιζόμενος τους άλλους. Είδα που κατέληξα και σκέφτηκα πως εγκατέλειψα εύκολα και παρασύρθηκα από συναισθήματα είτε ερωτικά είτε αυτά της φιλίας. Είδα πρόσωπα ψεύτικα να αποκαλύπτονται και ανακάλυψα ότι με ξεγέλασαν κα γέλασαν μαζί μου. Ποτέ δεν τους έκανα την χάρη να με δουν να κλαίε μπροστά τους πείσμωνα και μάθαινα από τα λάθη μου. Μπορεί όταν ήμουν μόνος μου να μούδιαζα να έπαιρνα μια εμβρυώδη στάση και να έκλαιγα τότε μου ερχόταν πως στη ζωή μου έχω δυο ανθρώπους που με στηρίζουν ανιδιοτελώς. Έχουν μόνο καθαρή αγάπη για μένα ΠΑΤΕΡΑΣ ΚΑΙ ΜΗΤΕΡΑ  λέγονται και θα είναι πάντα διπλά μου.
