Nightfall rides in on a stallion of bewitching twilight velvet, a canopy of radiant stars kissing the dark tranquility of the sky like the most exquisite gems. Slumber shrouds the secluded camp set by Yaban'nan warriors who have all retired to their tents, saved for those situated to guard certain perimeters in case of an ambush. Their warlord, however, isn't within the vicinity. He has wended his way to where his dragons rest— at a hill that provides a decent view of the camp. The dragons blend well with the shadows cast over them apart from Glaceus who has to lounge right behind her brothers to conceal her sterling, frosted scales.

Katsuki has enthroned himself on the grass with his back comfortably resting against Calidi’s slumbering form. Whirring thoughts of different strategies plague his mind and obstruct his need for sleep. He and his men had arrived earlier with a determined plan of action in mind. Moons of preparation had led them to what most would deem an unattainable target and yet Katsuki is tenacious in determining that nothing is unattainable to him.

But good god was he wrong.

The security of The Flame Kingdom has proven to be firmer and more capable than he initially thought. While the miscalculated reports have now cost his spies their freedom, that still doesn’t alter the situation at hand; the situation being that they’re all back to square one in unfamiliar territory. Katsuki needs to think and he needs to think fast before they encounter any sort of trouble. But his pondering has come to a halt when he senses a bizarre presence drawing near. He sees Calidi’s ear twitching at the sound— cautious but not paranoid. That doesn’t stop the Beast King from picking up his Scimitar sabre and standing up from his spot.

Pro Hero Verse: He has framed All Might posters and a large corkboard where he pins some Ground Zero fanart he’s received from some young fans (and by young, I mean little children so the corkboard is just full of colorful and messy doodles of him lol)

Modern Verse: Okay this is really old but someone posted a bedroom headcanon for Bakugou and I’ve been sticking to that one since I started rping him: “There is a dartboard he has taped photographs/drawings of his different classmates to. Every morning Bakugou throws one dart: the person he hits will be the person he will try to be civil towards for the day.”

♎ is their closet tidy or are the clothes just being thrown inside or lying on the floor?

Pro Hero Verse/Modern Verse: His closet is very tidy! He keeps everything neatly folded and arranged by color. One fabric out of place is enough to ruin his day.

Canon Verse: Not sure what the Paranormal Liberation Front’s headquarters look like but Dabi’s bedroom just consists of a mattress on the floor with two pillows and a blanket, a closet, a desk, and a chair. He has an ashtray next to his bed so his room reeks of cigarettes.

College Verse: He lives in a male’s only dorm building. If he had to describe his room, he would call it an organized mess. Some areas are clean and organized, while some are just a mess of dried up clay and paintbrushes, crumpled sheets of paper containing lyric drafts, and textbooks. 🌷 what do they have in their wallet?

Canon Verse: He doesn’t have one. When he does get his hands on some cash, he just shoves them in his pockets.

College Verse: Cash, debit card, several calling cards he received from record labels (though he has no plans on calling them), and an old picture of his childhood with Fuyumi and Natsuo at some playground.

Canon Verse: He only has one which is a key to the padlock attached to the roller shutters of an abandoned warehouse he found. That’s where he used to meet up with potential recruits for LoV but now he just uses it as an office. He now keeps several pro hero files here.

College Verse: Three keys— his dorm room, his studio, and a key to the tattoo/piercing shop he works at. He has a tiny black cat keychain which was given to him by a co-worker at the tattoo shop.

Canon/College Verse: I know zero shit about jewelry but he clearly has a lot of piercings! 😅

Canon Verse: He doesn’t really listen to music, but he does have a white noise app which he uses to fall asleep. But he only plays it when he actually feels safe. He’s always cautious about everything and everyone that having full eight hours of sleep is just something he couldn’t have.

Canon Verse: None. He doesn’t have a permanent home so he sees no point in putting a personal touch to where he’s currently staying.

College Verse: Of course, band posters. He definitely doesn’t have any family pictures which isn’t a surprise since he despises most of them (excluding Natsuo and Fuyumi).

♎ is their closet tidy or are the clothes just being thrown inside or lying on the floor?

Canon/College Verse: He just throws them inside his closet. He doesn’t like leaving his clothes on the floor because he doesn’t want to risk tripping over them and wasting more of his time.

Canon/College Verse: He keeps a zippo lighter, a pack of cigarettes, his cracked phone, and a pocket knife in the pockets of his coat/jacket.

Canon Verse: Some picture he took of a scrawny black cat digging for food in some trash. He goes to a particular alley every night to feed street cats some scraps he could find/steal and this black one just happens to be his favorite because it bares its claws and teeth at the other cats with so much ferocity whenever they try to steal its share.

College Verse: It’s just a roll of his favorite bands like The Cure, Joy Division, Siouxsie and the Banshees, etc. Some are in really poor quality because he can’t be bothered to take his time looking for good ones.

❉ do they have any pictures on their phone?

Canon Verse: Just the cats he feeds. He does have one picture of Himiko sleeping which he took because she didn’t look like her usual pretty self; her hair was a mess, dirt all over, and she was drooling. He whips that picture out to annoy her.

College Verse: The pictures he has are: his bandmates goofing off, some progress of his claymation projects, and whatever notes the professor has written on the board.

Canon Verse: Twice, Himiko, Mr. Compress, Geten, and Shigaraki

College Verse: His bandmates so that makes it three. The last two would probably be two of his classmates he relies on the most when it comes to copying notes.

College Verse/Canon Verse: He only has one game on his phone and it’s 1010 Classic Block Puzzle Game. He rarely plays it though. Most of the time, he even forgets he has that game unless he’s really bored. Dabi is the type who would prefer to keep himself busy at all times so there aren’t many days that would render him bored. 

He doesn’t mind letting other people borrow his phone to play it though but you bet he’d be sitting next to them, pretending to watch them play but really, he’s just making sure they’re not being snoopy.

He stuck out like a painfully sore thumb dressed in v-neck half purple, half white, puffy sleeved shirt tucked into skinny jeans, with a chain latching onto the belt loop that secured his wallet in a sea of people head-banging with their jewelry flailing about as much as their arms were. They were properly ready for the concert in their all black leather, jean jackets with patches all over, ripped pants, and colored hair. As much as he stuck out, hardly anyone paid attention to him as the music played. 

Yusuke was there to support his friend Dabi, and also to hear any comments made about the flyers glued all over with the band name and design. The artist was the one who made it all, and of course, he loved hearing praise and criticism. As far as he heard though, all comments were made about the music; how full the sound was, how relatable the lyrics were. He wasn’t a dancer, but everyone was jumping up and down, fists in the air, and flaying their head round and round as their long hair made a perfect circle. 

Obviously so, Yusuke’s never been to a concert like this before. It was a shock to him to see people pushing amongst themselves yet were still smiling and cheering. There was so much to take in that he couldn’t put all of his focus on the band like he thought he could. Yusuke kept moving about the crowd but every spot he moved to was the same story. He ended up being near the front though off to the side before he was able to comfortably put his focus on the music, and ultimately enjoy himself. 

After the show, Yusuke was among a small handful of people who were being escorted backstage to meet the members. He took this time to ask around people’s thoughts on the artwork in the flyer, and was met with great and brash praise. ‘It’s fuckin’ sick!’ ‘This should be an album cover!’ Personally pleased to hear the compliments, his dull eyes found Dabi’s, and he parted ways to meet up with him.

“Excellent performance,” the artist smiled. “I had no idea your musical talent was so well. Do you always gather such attraction with each performance?”

If there's one thing Dabi is grateful for in regards to his bandmates' personalities, it's that they know how to lead their fans away from interacting with him right after another well-received gig. Adrenaline still runs in his veins from the last song they performed and he does his best to cool down by enjoying himself to a cold glass of water as he watches his bandmates meet and greet the fans lining up to see them. He catches a few of their supporters glancing at his direction with hope in their eyes but he can't be bothered to step away from the table lined with snacks. He'd usually take this moment to eye someone who stands out from the crowd— someone he'd invite to the afterparty then screw after.

But tonight is different because instead of searching for a potential one-night stand, his eyes scour the crowd for a certain painter with a flair for the theatrics. It only makes sense to invite the guy to their gig considering he designed their flyer. The band has been all over that design too, already coming up with ideas on how they could profit off of it much to the bassist’s annoyance. But right now, he could only wonder whether or not Yusuke had managed to stay together in a rambunctious crowd of post-punk fanatics. 

Luckily enough, he doesn’t have to search for long because he finds the artist already making a beeline for him. It’s almost an absurdly hilarious sight— seeing Vanguard fans watch in apparent disbelief as Yusuke easily makes his way towards him without a care in the world. Even his bandmates appear confused at first but when he gestures them to focus back on their fans, they do so right away. He then redirects his attention to his companion.

❝Thanks, I guess you could say this is our best gig yet.❞ He says with a hint of a smile on his lips. Maybe he’s a little too pleased to see Yusuke in the audience earlier but he’d like to think it’s mostly because he initially had doubts that the guy will actually make it. ❝I’m impressed you came though. I thought you decided to attend some three-hour violin recital instead.❞
