King Tut’s Black Tears Album on In Yo Lap Radio
The hip hop adventures of Reign and Remixx continue as we embark on another summer of Artist Development, New Music, and the Re-Rebirth of Hip Hop consciousness. After all the death and sluggery, loss and dismality of …… wait, wait….naw, let’s just say we been through a lot. Let’s call it growing pains from this moment on.
It is our hiphoptorial duty to introduce to you Ohio’s seasoned vet dubbed King Tut the Don. I would love to go through his bio and draw out a rapper who is worthy of your attention, but I am not gonna do that this time, instead, let’s get right to the point.
Listening to King Tut’s current project entitled, Black Tears, gave insight on a lot of questions like: What is on a young black man’s mind when it’s not about hoes and clothes…you know….when it’s not about shows and flows but instead it’s about the truth seeking woes of the Hip Hop community of today?
I see the conversation on social media all the time. I read the comments from hiphoppas discussing these things often. Where is the real rappers? What happened to good music? Many artists don’t want to share the responsibility of cleaning up Urban America’s image, they merely want to sing and dance like the acrobats they see on TV.

King Tut’s Black Tears album gives confidence that anything is possible as the production cleverly mixes dope gangsta rap with role playing lyrics that are almost satire to the game. Familiar drum scores, samples, and melodies combined with a bit of exploitation. In fact, I am sure that when you first hear Married to the Game or SG Deep or Keepin It Real , you may think you are listening to the same old fruitless rap music we have come accustomed to, but King Tut’s sincerity is noted in this project as he challenges today’s rapper to be more clear of the message in the song and also to take responsibility in the content of your own music.
You may not find the answers to all of our problems on the Black Tears album but issues will be addressed, heads will bob, and conversations will begin.
To hear music from King Tut the Don’s Black Tears album tune into IN YO LAP radio.

SK took #slapslap the wrong way.....
The Youngstown Movement Road Trip V was a huge success as ReignMaker Entertainment will not give up on assisting Ohio indie artists to reach higher heights by networking outside of their habitat.
This years winners were SK and JG McCoy from Ohio.

The two self proclaimed rappers have currently completed their first project together entitled, "Him & I".
Him & I is an ensemble of street hymns that make the car ride home remind you of the classic days of Outkast or Lunatics.
It is nice to see 2 rap artists come together to complete a project. Always gives you that bi-polar vibe on content and hooks. Although the project is not complete there are some samplers out there! If you want a taste just listen to In Yo Lap on Highly Unique Radio every Friday 2 pm to 4 pm.
SK & JG McCoy are two rap artists who have the mindset for success. They know what they are up against and they are ready to make that needed change and fill the void. Check out the interview at O’Riley’s in Decatur:

SK & JG McCoy spent their first trip in Atlanta performing, networking, and celebrating SK’s birthday.
Of course SK had to stay true to his debut video, David Ruffin.....

when he funks his face up outside a club in ATL by falling #slap on it. We glad his recovery is going well and look forward to their return to the A. #staytuned
