Ion had endured vigorous training with the Baron of Khartoum since Esther had set off from the Empire; determined to get stronger... yet this women's instincts seemed to perhaps be more adept then his own despite being a terran.  He may have been faster then her, but her reactions in battle were unmistakably fierce.  The thought of getting on her bad side from how she mercilessly took down those men made him shiver just slightly, but he was knocked out of his thoughts when he was jerked away with little warning.  

The Methuselah followed as she lead, but had to ask, "Could those men be apart of the Inquisition?  And where art thou taking us?"  He questioned, keeping up with her pace.  Ion didn't bother asking how they could have learned of his secret meeting because there was a little chance Wolfin would know.  That may have been the case, but it plagued the Earl's mind as he feared yet another betrayal... but from whom?  

Also, this was enemy territory... at least for now.  While terran here called Methuselah "vampires" there was too few safe havens for his kind considering the last time he tried to speak to the Duchess and was eventually hunted down and almost caught.  The Mercenary seemed knowledgeable enough, and realizing how limited his options were, he had no choice but to stay along side her if she was willing to help him.

The mercenary blinked and lowered her weapon when the other three men were suddenly disarmed. So that was ‘haste’? The Earl was faster than she realized, but it was a good advantage in this case. Wolfin stood and walked over to the Methuselah, sparing a quick glance at the wounded men who were groaning in pain. She smiled at Ion and chuckled. “Thanks, Your Excellency. I—” A movement in the corner of her eye got her attention and she slammed her foot down, earning a pained yelp from the man who was reaching for his gun when his hand was stepped on.

“I really, really wouldn’t do that…” Her words came in a low growl and she shook her head slowly, glaring down at the startled Inquisition member. Wolfin moved her boot from his hand and pulled her leg back, suddenly kicking the man’s face. There was the sound of bone crunching and another cry of pain when the force of the blow broke his jaw. She turned back to Ion and grabbed his wrist. “Ах, боже мой… Let’s get out of here. They’ll call for backup.” Wolfin glanced around quickly before taking off down the hall; pulling the Earl along with her.

Question for all my followers/fellow RPers regarding Ion...

Alright so... I know it's sorta early and many of you might not be online but I figured I'd ask the question and I'd really like some opinions because the way I've been playing Ion has been bugging me for a while now, but I wouldn't want to make the choice to completely change his speech pattern which would in turn affect the other Methuselah muses depending on their take on it.  But I'm getting ahead of myself....  Let me start at the beginning and once you hear all I have to say then I hope you have a comment for me.  

I'm not really sure how all of you read the Trinity Blood manga.... I'm assuming most of you have, but if you've only seen the anime you probably won't get this.  I'd take a guess that most of you have read it online.... but maybe you guys are more dedicated fans and have some of the manga books.  I have the books 1, 5-12 and yes; looking off of the manga-reading websites, the translations are very close to matching the actual books as they usually are.  Most of the characters like Esther, Abel, Tres, etc. speak normally as do the other Terran so the difference is minimal.  

However the Methuselah have a different way of speaking that is not translated in the manga scans online but are in the physical books.  If you haven't read or don't own them you wouldn't know this and really it's not too big of a change but it's one I really like.  Here let me show you a few examples.  

As you can see, many Methuselah use words like "thy," "thou," and "thee," and depending on the character, use the speech pattern more often.  Something also that is common is referring to oneself as "we" or "our", as even Seth speaks this way... probably where they all got it from.  

Mirka and Ion use these the most and Astharoshe probably uses them the least for a noble who lives there, but that might be because she's said to be an expert on the outer leading us to believe she isn't as prone to stay at home all the time.  I believe that the most sheltered citizens of the empire who hardly leave their country speak more formal and old fashioned, as Scheherazade is never seen talking like that because she lived most of her life among Terran and away from the Empire.  

Now what I was wondering.... is if you guys would rather me play Ion with this speech pattern?  I myself love it, but if it's just too strange and out of place among the universe or it'd make you guys feel uncomfortable then I'd have to nix the idea.  You see it's like an impulse for me to have him speak that way.... but that's only because I have most of the books with him in it and that's just how I've always imagined him speaking.  

I'm asking you because I'm not sure if it would put weird strains on you guys or if it'd just be unnecessary.  I would hate for you guys to think it was just something stupid I came up with or even worse if those of you with Methuselah muses would feel more pressured to talk a different way because Ion would.  Regardless I would appreciate your option on it telling me if it'd just be an unnecessary pointless change or it wouldn't bother you, or maybe if any of you thought it'd be a good idea?  Just let me know and it'd mean a lot to me :)

Muse  -  I’m not 100% sure of his legit canon age so let’s go with something in the late teens or early 20’s.  (Though he doesn’t look it)

Mun  -  In the midst of a summer fling at the moment, nothing serious or long lasting, but just a fun little relationship while we’re still in the same area before going back to school.

Mun  -  Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and Popcorn!

Muse  -  He’s actually…. really good with animals!  If you look at how well Astha’s Tiger liked him and Seth’s squirrel thing… I’m not sure exactly what his favorite would be but he does like animals.

Mun  -  This may seem like an extremely sad answer but does manga count??? I really don’t read otherwise.

Mun  -  I ADORE ION.  He’s a hot-tempered but sweet kid I just love.  I always pick muses I want to snuggle.
