She wanted to slap his hand away, get away from this place as soon as possible but these ninjas had done a good job in tying her hands up together. It was better for them anyway, like a warrior would just give up like this. No matter how exhausted, her magic was able to help her regenerate and therefor she would’ve been able to fight back soon enough.
The further the man spoke, the angrier did the blonde got. She pulled on the ropes that kept her hands tied up, eyes fierce as he moved closer. And before he could pull away, she stumbled back and bit in his hand so that she could stand up. Shaky legs desperately tried to keep the girl up, a cheeky grin on her demolished face. “Don’t worry about me. Worry about the men that didn’t return.”
Her body began to glow in a dim light. Like a Mage from Demacia, more importantly their light Mage, would get stopped by shadows! “I attacked them. They wouldn’t shut up after all. Well… Lucky for them they came as a group of thirty. Ten of them could hardly handle me.” she looked at the man in the mask and turned her eyes around to scan the area.
“Weak people you call your students, mask man.”
“Of course they are weak, they are still learning. Unlike me.” Zed took a step toward the now standing light Mage. “So few came back and that is unfortunate for them but you will face no wrath than that of their master. Unless you can give a good enough reason for me to not get retribution for my lost students.” He shook his head a bit, it seemed this girl really didn’t know who she was dealing with. Unfortunate.
“I’ll be sending out word for your retrieval, in the mean time...” He trailed of, watching her.

Zed continued to stare down at her, then waved to dismiss his student, she was no longer a threat, she probably wasn't much of a threat before hand. None of his concern? "Is it considered a political matter? If so, even if it isn't my concern, I will make it my concern."
He kneeled, reaching down to lift the girls chin as he inspected her, "I do not send my students out to attack anyone, just to observe from the shadows, you must have done something to make them fight." Zed paused in thought. "Or are my students in need of discipline."

The whole ordeal was strange.
The Master of Shadow’s students had had a run in with a Demacian, not just any, but a Crownguard. “Luxanna Crownguard.” He said to himself as he looked down at the girl held captive by one of his students. Mages were difficult, but for an ninja like him and his students it wouldn’t take too long for them to deal with one, especially if it was just one small girl.
It looked like she had been more trouble than he’d really expect. Two students had brought her in, the other had left but it looked as though the light mage had done a number on them both.
“What brings you to Ionia. More specifically the grounds of the Order of Shadows?”

Fiora’s eyes narrowed at the shift in mood, focusing intently on the ninja’s red orbs. “I assure you, Shadowmaster, I am far more than ‘capable’,” the duelist slowly drew her slender rapier, then lowered it easily to her side, “but I have no qualm with you. You seem a decent fellow, I hate to kill you.”
Zed’s blades returned and he stood upright. “Well, I had none with you either but it is whatever you wish.” He took a step back. “So what else would you want of me?” He asked, it wasn’t often people approached him so comfortably.

“Much like yourself, I had to train to get where I am, most of this is not mysticism and faux-magic, and they aren’t just any men, the only confrontation I have are with the most skilled of people, again if they do not hear me coming then that is their fault.” Zed then gestured to Fiora. “You, I’m sure you would be quite capable against me.”
If Zed were to start a fight with Fiora, even just for kicks, and it when south he could easily get away from her. A fight with the Grand Duelist would be an interesting one, it was definitely something he’d want to do if he decided.
"Why fight from the shadows? I've seen you fight, you're quite capable, even without stealth. Does it not leave a bad taste to deny your enemies even the chance at an honorable death?"
“It would seem you have misinterpreted how I fight, duelist. It would also seem you don’t understand how a ninja works.” The Master of Shadows chuckled darkly from where he stood.
“I thank you for the compliment, but as the proclaimed Grand Duelist, its a bit disappointing that you don’t observe too well that I do not fight from the shadows, I fight with and along side them, they are an extension of myself. I am quite capable because of the tools I use, I use them well. Expertly in fact.” His hidden blades unsheathed.
“If they do not see or hear me coming then they do not deserve that chance. Honor will be in seeing the last strike. Their is no fouler taste than that of an unworthy opponent.”

In a dream, Shen walks listlessly. He clutches the head of his father against his body, the only action his body seems to take with effort. Shen takes two steps, three, four--then the proud body collapses, a limp arm colliding against the floor where his father's head rolls away. Creeping shadows envelop his body at a painstakingly slow pace, slow enough that Zed may see Shen's eyes meet his own. When light returns, all that is left are bones.
Zed jolted awake. No. He sat up with a shuddered breath, trying to calm himself. That isn’t how it happened, that’s not how his death will happen. He took a deep shaky breath, dragging a hand down his face.
Those eyes.
Why had that dream upset him so much, he awaited the day of his brother’s challenge so that he could end him and all that remained in his way... was that how it would end? Minus their father of course, but still.

Zed rose from the shadow behind the Dark Sovereign. “Considering your past and present I’d say you have all the time in the world, unless you actually do something in that castle of yours. The eyes see nothing though.” He chuckled darkly, walking around to stand before Syndra.
“I’m sure you’re curious as to why I asked you here.” He stated as he gestured for her to follow him, continuing to walk down the hall. “I was curious to know if you were interested in your powers following a shaded path.” An alliance with the Dark Sovereign would make the already fear Order of Shadows that much more fearsome.
ionian-shadow liked for a starter.
“Ninjas…” Syndra muttered under her breath with a sigh, the only sound accompanying her was the echoing of her own heels clicking through the hall. Despite the uncomfortable silence, she knew she was from alone. She could sense the bodies of many of the Master’s students peering from the shadows they work so hard to weave themselves with. One of the many reasons that Syndra was not one to visit the Master on his domain, but it seemed it was serious if Zed had called her to his temple.
Abruptly, the mage stopped, clearing her throat loudly. She was not a patient woman, and she was not prepared to wait all day for the Master’s grand entrance. Syndra was half sure the man was simply trailing along behind her simply to irritate the woman. “I do not have all day, Zed.” She called out into the nothingness of the temple, crossing her arms over her chest as she awaited a response.

That ticked at the Master of Shadows. Did she just do a back flip over him? As the woman turned around his hand had lunged for her neck, a strong grasp taking hold of her, pulling his up to his eye level which wasn’t too far.
“I see the games you play, they are dangerous, and your words and physical actions have tipped me over.” He minded the claws of his gloves around her neck. “It would seem you yourself don’t mind being an abuser in the mental sense.” He then shoved her away, letting the opposite arms hidden blade release.
Her actions were unappreciated and he wanted to make it clear.
"Tell me, Shadow Master. Is it true?" Janna had been in Ionia, visiting a certain little Yordle she adored, when he had mentioned something about a temple and shadows. So she, naturally, went to investigate. Having given up the search for one, she had perched in a tree and the other actually found her. She smiled, watching the mess of metal and cloth before her. He would answer her question, for he would give it meaning.
The Master of Shadows attention was taken away from his walk when someone spoke at him. It wasn’t at all uncommon that people knew who he was just by looking at him, he would actually be surprised if they didn’t.
He looked up into the tree that the voice came from, a dainty woman was perched in a branch, hardly dressed. “Your answer depends on what context you’d like to add to your inquiry.” He hadn’t a clue what this small woman was talking about, but he decided to entertain her nonetheless. Though he had a small inkling as to what she was talking about, but he wanted to be sure.

Zed took a step back, no emotion emanating from him. “Mentally and emotionally tortured, by others? Me?” He paused tilting his head up to the side just slightly. “Perhaps. Mentally in and of myself, having twisted things over a period of time, then becoming emotionally.” He scoffed.
The likes of her? “You say that like you are nearly the monster I am. I have already lived a life as both of those, it’s something I didn’t mind being at the time, and if it really calls for, still do not mind being them.” His tone darkened as he continued. “You talk of shadows and darkness as if you know them, their depths and contents so well.” He shook his head, then stared down the woman before him, a glint of red of his eyes from behind his mask. “I know the darkness that is my own, do not talk so heavily of your own evils as if yours weigh more to me than my own to myself. To me yours are an unfortunate tale.” Zed glared behind his mask.
“I indeed have no idea of your shadows and darkness, and you have no idea of mine, I would suggest holding your tongue on that matter.”
