The first time Arnav saw Khushi as his bride was when the pink dupatta fell on her. It was a moment he never forgot – so much so that when he organised their Suhaag Raat he gifted her a red (his favourite colour) lehenga with a pink dupatta, thus making her into the bride he always saw her as.
Which is why it’s especially fitting that a pink dupatta was used to tie them as one when they were married formally.

In Episode 140, after finding out that Filthy!Shyam is married to Anjali, Khushi has a flashback of Shyam telling Bua-ji that he lives in a hotel while in Delhi.
Except Khushi wasn’t there when Shyam wormed his way into her home - she was busy working at AR!

She wore the same colours when they were formally married.

The wedding shown in the flashbacks of The Tragedy is not Shyam and Anjali’s wedding. Arnav mentions that his parents died when he was 14 and he begins the show aged 26, meaning that the Tragedy occurred 8-9 years earlier.
Shyam and Anjali celebrate their third wedding anniversary in the serial and the second reveal is held on their fourth anniversary.
Which means that Anjali’s first marriage was broken, paralleling Payal and then Khushi.

When she finds the white kurta in the wardrobe in Episode 311, Khushi has a flashback of Anjali giving it to Arnav. Except Khushi wasn’t present in that scene.
In fact, this scene occurred in Episode 7, before Khushi had even stepped foot in Shantivan for the first time.
Perhaps Mr and Mrs Raizada’s telepathy had become so strong by this stage that they were sharing memories?
