Dark was pretty much a technological genius. “Cuz I have to be,” they would say, brushing it off. Whatever task she put her mind to, she would eventually complete it. The homemade batteries lasted several times longer than the standard ones, the tiny robotic spiders all did their reconnaissance jobs effectively, the strength enhancer let Dark finally win an arm wrestling contest, and the alarm suppressant let them steal all kinds of stuff into their hammerspace. That also meant Dark got super pissed when he couldn’t make a breakthrough.

“Can you tell Dark Crimson that Chocolate’s here?” The waiter stick glanced at Chosen up and down, looking unimpressed. “Y’all’s families did not care about color accuracy, huh? He’s working.” He clenched his teeth. “It’s important.” “I’m sure it is,” they said, crossing their arms. “But we’re about to hit the dinner rush and they don’t need to be distracted. Come back at the end of her shift.”

Following the events of "Wish Fulfillment," there is no escape for The Chosen One nor The Dark Lord from their past. They hurt too many Outernet citizens for a clean integration, and things have to get worse before they can get better.

I don't know if it's the timing of being off work for a couple months or what, but I have found a groove for writing fanfic during this AvA hyperfixation. I've already written 4.5 chapters for a follow-up for Wish Fulfillment. I might write a novel for the first time.

Missing someone to fly or spar with was not a crisis situation.

Heart's End - Oct 2023

A narrative about how a generally good kid could find themself going down a bad path. It was a lucky thing, Frisk had figured, that they had seen that police officer take the “forget about it” money from one of their old fosters. Learned they weren’t actually heroes like on TV. Otherwise they might’ve walked the two blocks to the station and been locked up when the whole thing with the Worst Fosters happened. As it was, they took a bus to Mt. Ebbott, fell into the mountain, and was rescued by a motherly goat lady with healing magic. The whole thing had to have been lucky because magic was probably the only thing that would help them.
