If you want a book with vibes, I would recommend A Study in Drowning by Ava Reid. It’s got rivals to lovers, feminist themes, and a gothic academia vibe. Truly an enjoyable read.

Iris and Roman are so wessa coded. Like the boy falls in love with the girl’s letters? They bond over words on a page???

I stayed up till two in the morning to finish Ruthless Vows. Holy crap was it good. I’m rereading Divine Rivals right now because I can’t get enough of Iris and Roman. Rebecca Ross is a genius.

idk how people don’t like divine rivals. it had enemies to lovers but the guy is secretly in love with the girl the whole time, fantastical elements, magic system, letter writing, romeo and juliet energy, hades and persephone archetypes, star imagery, lesbians. also it was really beautifully written

Ruthless Vows is out today and I can already tell it will destroy me.
