Whump Prompt #45

A whumpee being rescued by strangers. Crying and calling for their team and for rescue, not understanding who these people are and why their team has abandoned them.

in an empty, silent facility/house/building, a whumpee is found lying on the floor, chained or locked in a room. they’re too weak to move, malaise and dehydration keeping them docile. they’ve been abandoned, left behind, not even killed as a mercy. the disbelief and then overwhelming relief at being found and rescued breaks their friends’ hearts.

I love having whump dreams, they make some amazing prompts sometimes.

Okay so, this time, the whumpee (in this case Lance, but you can make it whoever you want), was fighting a really hard fought battle, and this is from the rest of the teams perspective. By the end of the battle, the whumpee has vanished, as if into thin air. They don’t know when they disappeared, or how. For ages they search for their missing teammate, only to come across the whumpers facility finally. The time the whumpee spent in this facility can be up to you, but for me personally it was a few months. In the facility, they find video tapes and records of everything that happened to their poor teammate. In one lonely cell, strapped to a table, very thin, and very dirty is their teammate. They don’t seem to recognize their team is here, and starts begging and pleading for them not to touch them. The team cuts them free, and when one tries to carry the whumpee, they *scream*. They try to jump out of their teammates arms, wailing and jerking away at every touch. The teammate apologizes profusely, but doesn’t stop because they have to leave. The whumpee either passes out, or the team manages to sedate/put them to sleep.

When they finally return back to their base, and the whumpee is awake, they lock themselves away in their room. The team brings them food, and tries to get them to leave, but they just can’t. Even when one of the teammates sets up a lovely warm bath for them, the whumpee is hesitant and startled. They lash out whenever someone gets too close. The team is so devastated, what could have happened in that awful facility that made their teammate like this?

#001 whumpy prompt

A character who’s been in cryosleep for too long that it has caused them insomnia. They try everything to get some sleep, but to no avail. They can’t deal with the exhaustion anymore, so they fill up the tub with ice and get inside. Their friend finds them later with their heartbeat slowed to almost nothing. “I was just so- I was so exhausted” they say through chattering teeth.

Character A taking a heavy hit in battle and flying across the field like a broken ragdoll. As they roll to a stop, dazed, barely conscious, the enemy looms again. Character B sees, cries out A’s name and lunges, throwing themselves on top of A to shield them just as the next blow comes down.

character B driving as fast as they can without having an accident to get character A who is slumped in the passenger seat, head against the window, slipping in and out of consciousness, to a place where they can get medical attention. 

bonus if they cant go to a hospital for reasons and are panicking because they dont know where to go

Whump Prompt

When Character A is down for the count, but Chatacter B is begging for them to wake up. Maybe they need to get out of there, maybe A has fighting skills and B knows they don’t stand a chance against the big bad without them. Either way, give me B cradling A and desperately trying to coax them back to waking.

Whumpy Prompt: Broken

Character A getting kidnapped and telling their captor over and over and over again that that their friends will come save them. That they would never give up on A. That they will find A no matter what. Their captor always just smiles and responds with, “We’ll just have to see about that.” Before torturing A.

But as days and weeks and then eventually months go by, no one comes. And Character A slowly gives up on the hope of being saved.

But the problem is that A’s friend actually have no clue Character A is even missing. All due to everyone being busy and A is not the most well liked of the group of friends, and that A is prone to bouts where they isolate themselves from everyone.

Well that is until Character A is dropped on their doorstep, covered in scars and blood and absolutely broken.

Whump Prompt #48

A, the only human in a team/family full of superheroes, is handed over to the whumpers by B, someone they trust, who believes them to be nothing but a liability. B then lies to the team about A’s whereabouts. Months later, the team discover the lie and rush to rescue A, but the broken shell of a person that they find is almost too much for them to handle.

Character A cradling the injured Character B against their chest, but it’s nothing close to gentle; A is holding them in place to keep them from writhing and one hand is tight over their mouth to muffle their whimpers and moans of agony.

“I know,” A soothes in a desperate hiss, rocking B hurriedly back and forth. “Shh, I know, I know it hurts, but you have to be quiet! They’re looking for us!”

Hi! I love your blog and your prompts ade always really good! I'd like to request some prompts based on one of my favorite tropes, if that's alright! The trope where the whumpee is being rescued by their carer/team but is in too much pain/drugged/delirious/ etc to recognize them and resists them thinking that they're going to hurt them. Thank you!

”No, no, no!” Character A cried, their movements sloppy and slow as they tried to push Character B away from them. There was uncontrollable panic in their tired eyes, and B didn’t want to think what had been done to them that could have caused something like this.

”It’s me”, B said, taking a gentle but firm hold of A’s face. With their thumb B wiped away the hot tears rolling down A’s red cheeks. It broke B’s face to look at their friend like this; too scared and drugged to even properly fight. ”Listen to me, I’m not going to hurt you. You’re my friend and I won’t let anything happen to you. I’m here to get you out, you hear me?”

”Come on”, B plead, keeping a tight hold of A’s wrists to keep them from hitting B. ”You gotta trust me, buddy, I’m not going to hurt you.”

”We have to go!” Character C yelled from the doorway, glancing back at A and B. ”Pick him up and let’s go before they get here or we’re all dead.”

B ignored them, focusing solely on the struggling, sobbing A. ”Please, A, I need you to trust me. You know me, you know you do.”

”Let go of me! No!” A screamed, suddenly yanking their arm from B’s grasp and stumbling back a few steps. Their eyes were wide and wild, as if they were a cornered animal.

Something was clearly wrong. Very, very wrong.

B took a careful step towards A, spreading out their arms. ”What’s wrong with you?” they asked, eyeing A. ”What did they do to you?”

Character A bleeding out in the back of a car, in an abandoned parking lot. Static crackles across the radio in time with Character B’s voice coming over the phone, begging them to stay with them, telling them they’re on their way, pleading with them to stay awake. Blood leaks between A’s fingers as consciousness leaks from their mind

Trigger Warning for: Gore

An immortal being dissected and operated on for “Science”. Forced to watch as they’re cut apart and sewed together again and again. Made to look at their own intestines sitting on a table by their head. Strapped down to see if an amputated limb will regenerate on it’s own. Crying and trembling as they’re drugged out of their minds. 

But then being pet on the head and comforted. Being told that they’re “doing so good” and “improving the world”. Being praised for how “selfless” and “noble” they are. Being promised that all their pain will save countless other lives. And they do want to save lives, don’t they? They don’t want to be selfish, do they?
