Karen jones will always live in my brain, her personality and relationships are just so human and so complicated and I’ve always related to her so much (and not just because I look like her)

I find it interesting how she will always be the first to badmouth Ms. Grimshaw, first to complain or call her names, but can also be found singing camp songs with her more than anyone else in camp, and laughing right along.

Or how she disliked Molly the most out of all the girls. Didn’t like her personality, her choices, her words, but after she was killed Karen was her most vocal defender. Because no matter her personal feelings on Molly, she knew she didn’t deserve to be treated the way he treated her, and didn’t deserve the end she got.

Even with Sean, yes they slept together and had fun when they were drunk, but she likes to act like she hated him, pushed him away or got angry with him, and so on. But when he died? I’ll always mark it as the beginning of her downfall. I don’t know, maybe it’s not so clear until beaver hollow, but I always thought that his death was what started the ball rolling on her eventual death.

Karen jones is so important to me, and I always wish we had a more concrete idea of what happened to her, though I guess it’s not hard to assume.

dutch and hosea were teaching him how to fish, meanwhile at the other side of the world its 2am and darragh macguire is crying in frustration everytime sean takes a huge breath of air in and screams at the top of his lungs.

arthurs sketching hosea in his journal while sean is drooling everywhere, arthur’s brushing his horses mane while sean has an iron grip on darraghs hair while doing a silly toothless smile because he doesnt know he’s hurting him.

arthur is waiting to speak to dutch about his plan meanwhile sean is chasing darragh around the house repeating “dada dada dada dada dada here dada here here here dada here dada dada here dada”.

What if Micah attacks Dutch with a knife at the very end, after Arthur is already down. Stabs him in the face before running off, after he realises Dutch isn't siding with him either. Arthur tries crawling to Dutch with the last of his energy but doesn't manage, the last thing he sees is Dutch bent over, blood pouring from his face.

Charles still finds Arthur's body on the mountain, overlooking the sunset. Fat drips of blood and bloody handprints all over his blue shirt.
