Once upon a time au- playground disagreements

Miles and Sage Kintobor are not only the mayor’s kids, but prodigies that skipped a number of grades due to their intelligence and do take their classes at the local high school thats just across the street from elementary school

cuz of their age group it was advised by the teachers that they cross the street every recess to spend their time around kids in their own age group so they won’t be isolated out of necessary child experiences

(Mayor Kintobor thought that his kids shouldn’t be wasting their time with their intellectual inferiors, from high school or elementary, but reluctantly agreed)

Unfortunately their reputation as prodigies and kids who were going to a big kid school isolated them from their peers in both schools. Most whispered and talked about their freakiness behind their backs, Miles’s tails not helping and it just wasn’t a pleasant time at all

In response Sage was cold and dismissive towards their classmates, ignoring them 99% of the time, while Miles gave into hatred and became straight up antagonistic and smart mouthed jerk to anyone he interacted with that wasn’t his family. it wasn’t like anyone could do anything either. he was the mayor’s kid so people just avoided him more and that made him more bitter so he kept up the shitty behaviour

so when the new kid he’d heard about, Cream, stood up to him to stop him from picking on another kid at recess he wasn’t expecting her to actually do something when he tried to call her bluff, never mind start start swinging
