Hey guys!

So just recently, I've made a very good friend on Discord who creates some AMAZING things. He goes by Kira and he has limitless potential and creativity.

These are just a few of his amazing pieces! The craziest thing is? He does all of these on his tiny little phone screen with only his finger.

Now, Kira would love to have a career as an artist and we would love to assist him in accomplishing that goal. We would like to raise $900 to get Kira an iPad pro and an iPencil so he can create at his full potential.

     Bad storms actually make Ume very anxious. This stems from the fact that they can damage or even kill her tree - and by extension, her as well. It doesn’t help that she’s relatively helpless against this kind of threat. She can fend off mortals or anyone foolish enough to try to do harm to her or her tree, but forces of nature?

     She can’t stop those, and is completely at their mercy. Bad lightning storms terrify her especially, and her only option is to wait them out and pray that no harm comes to her.

     Being manipulated by someone he trusts. We see a good example of this when Demona shows Brooklyn the darker side of humanity for the purpose of having him steal the Grimorum for her and then having him subsequently lure Goliath to her so that she can put a mind control spell over him. After this particular event, he becomes very hostile towards her, and while Demona has bad blood with pretty much everyone in the Manhattan Clan, Brooklyn’s grudge towards her is especially apparent.

     If you want to completely ruin your relationship with Brooklyn, then use him as a means to further your own awful agenda, especially if that agenda involves hurting someone that he loves. If you were a person that he trusted before, I guarantee you that he’ll never do so again after something like that.

The sound of something barely registered over the roar of the fire. Certainly not enough to make him open his eyes and let them be victim to the thickening smoke. It’s hard enough to just lift his arm in vain attempts to keep from inhalation- something he had now given up on. He can’t move. What’s he supposed to do? Wait it out? Hope the fire didn’t come any closer? Yeah right. The sooner he can breathe the miasma in, maybe the sooner this will be over with-

A sudden feeling of weightlessness however was enough to earn his attention.

A choked gurgle was all he could manage in his surprise before falling into a fit of coughs. The chaos of it all distorted any sense of time, or distance, once again being caught off guard at the feeling of water against his skin, soothing the burns that had begun to develop along his leg. It took a moment for him to register what had just been said, senses overwhelmed with the heat and contrasting coolness of the lake.

“Uh, y-yeah, I think so.” Questions can be left for later. Using the water to the best of his ability, even if any movement of his leg made him want to scream out in pain, he managed to swim haphazardly around and wrapped arms around the other in a shaky but stable hold. “Okay, I think- I think we’re good. Fuck, that fire moves fast-” He sure hoped the other man knew where to go from here. But, it’s not like he had any choice but to trust in him.

     Had time not been of the essence, Link would have been far gentler with the other man. His one leg was quite injured, and the Hylian didn’t doubt that it was causing him a considerable amount of pain. The stranger would be worse off if that fire caught up with them, however, and Link could make it up to the wounded man once they were safe.

     The hero waited patiently for the redhead to hook his arms around his shoulders and it was only after the stranger confirmed that he was secure that Link pushed off, using his arms to pull the two of them through the water. He’d always been a strong swimmer, a fact for which the Hylian was thankful, in this case - supporting an additional body would have been impossible otherwise, and likely would have resulted in a watery grave for the both of them.

     Link’s intended destination was an island nestled further out in the lake, where the fire would be unable to reach them. It was no short trip and even with his impressive strength, the hero felt his limbs beginning to tire from the effort that it took to carry both of them through the water. The chainmail that he wore beneath his tunic wasn’t exactly buoyant either. It was stubborn determination that kept him going, however, with the Hylian ignoring the few times that he accidentally swallowed water when he meant to take in air.

     Reaching dry land was a relief, to say the least. Dragging them both up onto the small island’s shore, Link heard himself cough a few times and felt his muscles aching with exhaustion. They were safe though - as far out as they were, the fire wouldn’t reach them. They would have to wait until the blaze subsided, but…

     Well, at least Link knew how to fish.

     “Y-Y-Y-- Y-Y-Your l-l-leg-g-g,” he managed between gasps as he, carefully, allowed the stranger to slip from his back and onto the sand. Despite his own fatigue, his immediate concern was getting a look at the injury, though his hands paused above the leg in question, blue eyes lifting as if to ask the redhead permission to touch.

     “Is it b-b-b-- b-b-brok-ken-n? M-M-Ma-- M-May I l-look-k-k at it-t-t?”

     The sudden contact has him stiffening, a soft gasp escaping Khalid as he looks down, bewildered for a moment. The sight of his Master holding him as she once had when he’d been but a boy brings forth both an ache and a warmth in his chest, a longing for years that had passed more than a hundred lifetimes ago.

     Khalid feels himself drop in her hold, falling to his knees as he leans into the comfort of her embrace. He’s no longer a little boy, and yet he can’t resist the urge to let her cradle him as if he were - after all, had the ancient mage not wanted this for so very long... ?

     His own arms circle around Mana, with the magician burying his face into her shoulder. A soft, muffled sniffle can be heard and had she been anyone else, Khalid wouldn’t have allowed her to get even a hint of such vulnerability.

     Mana, however, was always allowed to see him           for from his Master - his mother - he would hide nothing.

I may be on periodically, but most of my time is likely going to be spent packing and unpacking until I’m settled into our new place. We’re supposed to have internet in the apartment on July 2nd, so I may be mobile bound for the next little while, depending on whether I’m at the apartment or my Mom’s place. As such, I’ll likely be sending a lot of inbox stuff, but I won’t be able to do much in the way of drafts.

     I’ll be back on July 2nd at the latest, if all goes well!

     So we’re MOSTLY moved in now, and I have internet again~ I’m gonna work on getting active again, but I’m back to work, so don’t be surprised if I’m a bit sluggish. Work likes to kick my ass a lot, but I’ll do my best to be active. <3

write me your words of wonder

you want to be thought of with intent, for someone to sit down and want to share their thoughts with you specifically. and their thoughts about you, even more. for someone to Know you, or at least desire the knowledge. for them to write it out in a way that you can read as quickly or slowly as you desire. that you can reread again and again, or lock in a box and never read after that first quick consumption. you crave that tangibility. and the small moments that lead up to the letter being in your hand. to be told, 'it's in the mail' and then to have the simple joy of checking the mailbox to see if it has come today. to hold the envelope and feel the love within. there is a purpose of intent within physically written words, and it patches the parts of you that feel like you aren't worth thinking about. my darling, know that you are. you are worth intentional thought and cursive letters and an envelope sealed with a kiss.
