Can't remember the term, but did some quick sketches yesterday and today.

I used a website called Quickposes, which gives you references but they're timed so you have to get the general shape and dynamic, good practice, especially for a perfectionist like me lol. I'm actually proud of how these turned out (also I guess light NSFW tag but not detailed?) And yes I did overlay a lot lol.

Also did facial expressions with the same website. Some turned out good and others... well, it's a process. Overall I think these are turning out better than I expected!

As mainly an art blog, I'm going to try to post frequently of my progress and finished pieces.

Little update

Figured how to fix the chicken incident the other day. The ol' "turn it off and then back on" trick.

Got the next heart event with Balor. (guess he's in the lead lol) and met... Wheedle.

Wheedle. Given his name, his parents must've hated him. (But not changing it certainly is a... choice.) I've already made jokes about it ("Balor, doesn't this obvious scam concern you just a Wheedle bit?")

Also I''m not sure if it's winter season-specific, but his outfit burned my eyes (props to character design for showing his personality with just visuals.)

As I'm working to get some of my art through here, it might be fun to do little updates as I play this game. A lot of my ramblings and stuff happened that I think were funny and that I wanted to share. I'll end up reblogging with additional notes as things progress.

I was close to letting my Epic the musical obsession take over and name her "Athena," but I decided to go with Artemis because it seemed to fit a little better with my girl's theme. (Big exception is that I'm a hopeless romantic and so will my farmer.) Besides, "Artemis" sounds pretty and fits the fantasy themes!

Specific character she's romancing?

I haven't decided yet. Toss up between Hayden, Ryis and Balor; however, it seems I "bullied" March into getting ahead with heart events and romances. I talked to him a lot just be an annoying "I'm going to be a genuine happy ray of sunshine and there's nothing you can do to stop me." (which funny enough, Balor told my character "Artemis, you're sunshine in the rain!" So... sun theme girl named after a Greek goddess associated with the moon.) (If I got that wrong I apologized, my knowledge in Greek Mythology is limited)

For where I am in the game (spoilers ahead?)

My farm is called "Peanut Gallery"

My garden isn't very big, but starting to get more crops bought and planted. At the time I'm writing this, this is the first year in mid to late-ish Fall. Just upgraded the General Store.

I got a pink dog. Her name is Strawberry <3

I've donated a lot of random stuff to the museum, not even sure how much. I don't check the progression, I just see if what I have has a checkmark in the box lol.

Just unlocked the water-y theme for the mines (just made it to level 25). Been using the ultimate combat move of jump attack!

Shooting Star festival had happened but had no one to go with. Technically I could've gone with March, but I didn't want to trigger a romance when I'm not even sure I want to do that lol.

Instead of saving wood to do the first upgrade for my home, I'm using it to build more crates for all my stuff. I have a dragon statue I talk to on my land but I'm the one hoarding stuff.

Also I love all the characters, they're so fun, such cutie patooties!

Start of the Animal Saga lol. Good and confusing news.

Got two chicks (spotted named Pepper, white named Sugar. iykyk) and black cow named Shrimp (it was the first name and I thought it was cute.)

Lost Pepper. Girl somewhere in the coup, acted like she ran out the door but she isn't outside (it's Winter.) She's eating I just can't find her to pet her??? (Gotta figure out if there's a way to fix this.)

Good news, first Animal Festival! Didn't bother entering lol.

It was funny because I was looking at the cutouts, saw Hayden walking close. Decided to to jump and stick Artemis' face through all "Boo! >:)" but then this man just decided to:

Probably programmed routine lol. But the timing was so funny to me, like he tried to match the silly energy.
