Crocodile Fever Proposal
For my proposal of Crocodile Fever, created by Meghan Tyler, I want to use an approach inspired from Es Devlin's blue hued set for Girls and Boys. For Crocodile Fever I created a set for the Circa Theatre main stage 1, which will be carefully recorded as a whole playing through the stages in real time, with lights and colours without actors in this run through. With this footage a digital version of the stage will be created to be projected back onto the set. After this information is recorded everything will be painted white. Once the stage has been painted white, the virtual version of the stage will be projected back upon the set, key details such as the stairs, dining table, doors, kitchen tiles, and kitchen cabinets will be projected on for the whole set, with set things designed to change through scene to scene.
A Majority of the key aspects of this play will be run through a layer of projection to replicate things that would be too messy to have on the stage to tidy up, giving the set a full ability to be reused with very few items needing to be sourced for future shows (excluding: Chips, A glass pane, and cigarettes.)

First Part of Storyboard:
1st Image: Plan view of stage and where audience will be seated
2nd Image: Set design how the set will look without any lights/projections being projected onto scene
3rd Image: Set design with lighting and projections creating the original base scene which will be added to throughout the development of the show.
4th Image: Wide angle scene of when Alannah and Fianna first interaction plus windown breaking
5th Image: Fianna and Alannah talking, smoking inside tile on floor has been removed revealing cigerates.
6th Image: Africa dancing scene, Alannah and Fianna dance around while listening to the song Africa, unbelittle to them a knocking sound will heard interupting the which is ignored by the two of them.
7th Image: A small chip explosion as Fianna finds Alannahs secret stash of potato chips, much to Alannahs refusal. Air cannons loaded with chips hiding on the opposite side of the wall are fired up and rain down littering the stage crunching under foot of Alannah and Fianna.
8th and 9th Images: Fianna disappears to use the bathroom after a dispute with Alannah, disappearing from the scene lighting will guide the two characters as they distance from one another the light will fade off Fianna as she disappears upstairs, a small moment will pass and a loud gunshot sound will be heard with a large flash of light lighting up the backdrop of the theatre, will Alannah sites downstairs is shock of what has happened.

Es Delvin - Girls and Boys
Devlin created an all blue stage set for the Girls and boys play at Londons Royal Court Theatree, which charts the dissolution of a wamons marraige through different video projections.
Once all surface data was recored of Devlins sets, the set was painted a vivid turqoise. This surface data was then used to create a virtual version of the set in all its original colours, which is then precisely mapped back onto each surface throughout different points in the play.
