Why do I get 2016 vibes in 2022 as a Korean drama fan?!

Hi👋 there to whoever is reading this post. I hope you're doing good. We don't know each other but being an ardent korean drama fan brings us close to each other (Virtual hugs 🫂)

I've been watching K- dramas since 2015. One of my best friend suggested me to watch Boys over flowers.

She is the main reason I started watching Korean dramas. But I was not that impressed by Boys over flowers ( I'm sorry 😐 )

My first Korean drama was Fated to love you. I was stunned by every single thing about that series. I loved the actors, ost, story, cinematography and what not. I never really thought that a foreign language (Indian🇮🇳 here) could make me feel so much emotions like my own language. That's the moment I fell in love with this amazing art called K-dramas.

So many years passed since then. I've been watching more series. But personally I feel 2016 was the Golden year for Korean . They gave amazing series to this world like Descendants of the sun, Two worlds, The Doctors, Weightlifting fairy Kim bok joo, Legend of the blue sea, Goblin, Uncontrollable fond, The K2, Cinderella and four Knights, Scarlet Heart Ryeo and more.

I'm sorry if I left out some. Each of these series I mentioned above had its own uniqueness and standard. It must have been challenging for the upcoming directors to meet this standard these projects created this whole year.

All these years alot of good series got released in Korean entertainment industry. I personally felt only 3 or 4 series per year had outstanding concepts.

And now we're in 2022. I already watched All of us are dead. I'm currently watching twenty-five twenty-one and A business proposal. Planning to start off with Ghost doctor and Forecasting love and weather.

Surprisingly I'm already getting the same vibes from 2016. 2022 is going to be another Golden year for Korean Drama Fans. More exciting projects are being announced as upcoming releases.

I'm so excited that I'd be binge watching K-Series after ages.
