 Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported that they will start full requirement of Importer Security Filing (ISF) guidelines on July 9, 2013 and will begin issuing liquidated damages against ISF shippers and transporters for ISF non-compliance.

CBP will evaluate liquidated damages as per the significant moderation rules which were distributed in the CBP Bulletin on July 17, 2009. There can be different errors on ISF transmission and as per the rules, CBP may evaluate/fines a case for liquidated damages as follows:

$5,000 per late ISF.

$5,000 per inaccurate ISF.

$5,000 for the first inaccurate ISF update.

Extra Statutory Penalties might be surveyed for genuine or tedious infringement.

 ISF Filing Online

ISF is a mandatory requirement for sea shipments, it doesn't matter how much is the value of your shipment is and ISF must be filed 24 hours before leaving the foreign port. ISF Filer is offering ISF filing online to be able the importers to submit the documents online by himself anytime and anywhere.  Single ISF Bond

Single ISF Bond Application can be approved within 30min. Applying for Single ISF Bond will be done by contacting us ISF filer through email address or phone and agreeing with these fees. Single ISF Bond is to file ISF ONLY. Could be use ONLY once. All Commercial shipment (type1) MUST have Single ISF Bond to complete the ISF Filing with US Customs. US Customs can/will Confiscate /Seize /Penalize /Fines /Examine the consignee shipment; US Customs has 5 years to final ruling. NOTE: To Eliminate most of: Single ISF Bond fee & LATE Single ISF Bond fee & Single Entry Bond fee for Next 365 days, please apply for Continuous Bond.

 Late ISF Bond Filing

If you are filing ISF, 23 hours & 59 minutes BEFORE your shipment is about to leave foreign port or HAS left foreign the port, then you could apply for Late Single ISF Bond, by agreeing with the fee and some of the cases will need to file continuous bond to eliminate Late Single ISF Bond, to verify what customs bond should you apply, contact us as your customs broker by email or call us by phone.
