Thinking about the last conversation Randy and Benson had before he decided to die.

At first, I thought Benson saw the call to the police as a betrayal, but what if his sadness came from the fact that Randy had finally fought back for the first time, and his job of 'fixing' him was, in some way, done? So, he no longer had a purpose...

Do you think maybe that made his decision easier?

Benson already had that drive toward death and self-destruction within him. I follow the idea (probably an accurate one) that he was already planning to die—maybe Randy was a way to delay the inevitable because he wasn’t ready yet?

Now that asexual is trending its perfect timing for me to talk about one of my favourite ace characters....

CASH I LOVE YOU!!!!!

Seeing him on screen in season 1 felt like the first time I could truly relate to a characters sexuality. It was like looking into mirror.

And in season 2 Cash's sexuality and struggles are further explored and talked about through his relationship with Darren. The scene I attached is one of my favourites EVER its just so heartbreakingly accurate for me. And his nan is actually the sweetest and I love her.

What's also so great about Cash is his sexuality is only one part of his identity, there are so many other parts of him that make him interesting and unique.

I just love being able to see more and more varying portyals of asexual characters, because for most aspec people every persons experience is different, and that's okay. I hope to be able to write some characters this good in the future.

Side note, Heartbreak High is just an all round fantastic show and everyone should go watch it. There is so much good repsentation in it and the characters are loveable and hilarious. Definitely one of my favourite teen dramas !!!
