I watched TOH's original pilot episode and something I don't get is why would the writers change Luz in A Lying Witch and a Warden? It's just in the pilot Luz was actually getting made fun of for her interests which seemed more harmless (if bothersome) to people instead of y'know being a danger to the people around and not really caring how her actions can harm them.

They wrote her like that and then spend the rest of the series trying to act like she's the same Luz from the pilot as if she wasn't being completely flippant and dismissive to the fact the snakes she brought were biting people because it's not like they're venomous so nobody really got hurt /s

And with this change, the people who have reason to be concerned about her behavior or wary of her because of previous actions are the ones to be shown in the wrong! So yeah changing Luz's character from the pilot just makes her look really bad, even if the writing tries to tell you otherwise.

Not every idea from the pilot was better than what we got in actual show, but this one... It looks like they just mixed up storyboards and put the wrong one into the final version. It works so perfect for Luz's image of a "harmless nerd" from the show and makes people sympathize with her much easier.

Not saying that Willow parallels Phillip, but she sure does more than Luz, who doesn’t parallel him at all. So what, does this mean Willow and Hunter are siblings?

Yes? Then... It's complicated. They're not siblings in the usual sense, but it's still really wierd to see them in a romantic way, even if they don't have any other problems (king x luz clearly does have other problems, don't get me wrong)

5. Is none of the above list suitable for characters in question?

I have some news for you, they are NOT siblings! ❌

You can headcanon them whatever you want, but it doesn't give you any rights to harass people who doesn't see them in the way you see!

I will never get over Hunter and Luz being parallels to Caleb and Evelyn. Literally doomed by the narrative lol.

collection of useful things tumblr has taught me:

even if you can't fall asleep, laying down with your eyes closed will still rest your body

you don't have to brush your teeth standing up

you don't have to do any chore standing up, from dishes to showering

you don't have to shower with the lights on

if you can't brush your teeth, flossing and a tongue scraper gets rid of plaque and bad breath

if you can't do that, mouthwash kills a lot of bacteria

eating "unhealthy" food is better than eating no food

you can make the same meal everyday for however long you still want it

some pills come in syrups or chewables if you can't swallow them

kids nutritional shakes can be a quick way to get fuel if you can't eat/don't have time

if walking hurts/exhausts you on a regular basis, canes and rollers are for you, no matter how young you are

we have free will—if doing something "out of the ordinary" makes life easier for you, do it
