You always had this insecurity when Oikawa was with his fangirls. There were so much prettier than you and you were scared one day Oikawa will no longer find you pretty. Oikawa will no longer like you and you guys would break up! You cant have that. You love that guy too much for that to happen. If one day he left you, you would be broken. And he called you ugly.

Sighing sadly, you plop yourself on the couch beside him. But it seems like you have annoyed Oikawa, "Could you not get so close to me? Don't you know what personal space is?! Just stay away!" 

Feeling hurt, you quietly sat down on the floor some distance away from Oikawa. "Kawa? Would you want to watch some movie?" 

"Ugh fine it's better than doing nothing but sitting in silence with you."

You sighed feeling hurt. "Ok..." You played that alien movie you chose while waiting for him to arrive. 

(A/N: in italics is Y/N's thoughts) 

You both watch the movie in awkward silence until Oikawa spoke up. "Ano... Y/N-chan? Gomen... (A/N: that means sorry... I think... if I'm wrong pls correct me) I was just angry that you disturb my time with Ruby. I'm really sorry Y/N...Can you pls forgive me?" Oikawa asked cutely. His face in a cute pout looking down at you. 'I really can't resist him'  

"Ok kawa... But could you tell me why did you kissed Ruby?"

"None of your business."

"Oikawa! Don't be so rude. And it is my business. You. Broke. Our. Promise."

"Ugh fine ur so annoying" Oikawa rolled his eyes in annoyance. It's funny how fast he can change his attitude towards you. One minute he was cute and sweet and the next he is angry again. 

"I only kissed Ruby because it was too tempting. I didn't mean to break our promise..."

"Oikawa, you still broke the promise... I'm not sure if I can trust you now..."

"Please N/N-chan? I promise I wont break our promise again. I wont be intimate with her..."

"Ok... I trust you... But if you break that promise, you have to break up with Ruby ok?" Oh the things he make me do... you thought.

You sat next to him on the couch, lying your head on the shoulder as you watch the movie. Oikawa rested his head on yours. If any outsiders sees it, they would think that you two are such a great couple. 

"N/N-chan, did you pick this move? It's so good. I really wish that aliens would exist in reality. I do believe that they do but I want to see it~" He whines about how he wishes to see aliens.

"Ok ok my alien lover. Calm down... Maybe when you are older and technology is more advanced, you can see an alien"

You both continued to watch the movie in silence. Not awkward silence like before but in a comfortable silence. Occasionally you hear Oikawa's phone ringing and he checks it only to find that it was Ruby calling. Then he would just decline the call. Such a simple action made you feel appreciated and loved. He clearly did not want Ruby to disturb your time with him.

That guy really had you fall heads over tails for him. You suddenly remembered something. "Kawa? Coach say he wanted another manager right? For the holiday training right? Do you know who is it going to be?" (A/N: I changed a little from here)

"Uhh. I don't think so. It would probably be voluntary.  Since not many people are willing to come back to school over the holidays anyway."

"Voluntary huh..." Then you realised something. "Doesn't that mean Ruby-senpai can apply?! Since everyone knows that Ruby is your 'Girlfriend', she would have a high chance won't she?"

"Ruby huh... It's possible considering the fact that she is might want to see me over the holidays..." (A/N: until here the rest has no changes)

"Oh... I don't really want to work with her tho if she is our manager... She's going to hog you... Volleyball training is the only time I get to see you without her after all... She's always around you..."

"Aww is my N/N-chan jealous? Although you being this jealous is cute and endearing, you don't need to be jealous. Plus the volleyball guys love having you as their manager and nothing would change that."

"Kawa... You do realise that only Iwa-chan knows about us dating right? Only Iwa... The others would be curious and Ruby-senpai is really pretty and popular and the would no longer find me interesting and..."

Oikawa wrapped his arms around you. "Don't worry too much N/N-chan. That's not going to happen... Plus we don't even know is Ruby is going to be our manager."

"Ok kawa..." You wrapped your arms around Oikawa and the both of you remained in the same position for quite sometime.

Would Ruby really be the new manager? Would the volleyball boys favour her over you? Would Ruby steal everything that you wish for? Would Oikawa break his promise again? Only time would tell...

A/N: Hi! Thank you for requesting. Yes, I am alive. I just don’t update as often cos I’m lazy. I’m sorry if this was not what you might be thinking of. I hope you enjoy it! I’m really sorry it took me so long to write this. I wasn’t very sure about how Tendou behaves so I had to do some research and stuff. I really hope it isn’t to OOC. "Well well. Would you look at that it's the famous Miss Girlfriend over here." One of your bullies said. He had the nicest dark blue hair ever with light blue eyes. You wonder why he even became a bully. With his looks, he could be popular without needing to bully people for attention. He's never hit you unlike the other two but he does say mean things.

"Did you think that getting a boyfriend now would mean that you would not be bullied again?" Your other bully said. He had red hair and green eyes and a single scar on his forehead that made him look intimidating. 

"Well, you're wrong. Your little boyfriend is busy with volleyball training so no one can save you now."The leader said. He has dark green hair and purple eyes. Not only does he look scary but he also sounds scary.

What have you done to upset those people? You would wonder. Well, a month ago, you accidentally spilt hot chocolate on the leader's brand-new white shirt. You offered an apology because you’re not someone who lacks manners. But they showed no understanding. Since then, you've been subjected to bullying. 

They always target you when your boyfriend, Tendou is at volleyball training. That way, no one can save you.

But they made their worst mistake choosing to bully you today. That was because Tendou did not have volleyball training. The training was cancelled.

"I wonder how your boyfriend can stand you. You're so ugly and dumb with not a single tinge of beauty. He doesn't deserve such a person like you." The red-haired bully said, pulling your hair.

"Yea. Other than Tendou there is no one who would save your pathetic ass." The leader said. Punching you in the guts. Then he kicked you in the back of your knees.

They continued beating you up and saying hurting words that constantly lowered your self-esteem. Until…

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" You heard someone in the distance screaming. The voice sounds oddly familiar and rather soothing. It took you a second to realise that the voice that you heard was Tendou. But didn't he have volleyball training?

You were about to question him but he interrupted. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HER?!"

Being caught red-handed, the bullies have no choice but to run.

"What happen? Why are they bullying you? Who are they?" Your worried boyfriend started questioning.

"Chill Tendou. I can't answer that many questions at once." You laughed but regretted it immediately. "Owwww!"

"Oh my days. N/N are you ok? Do you need to go to the infirmary? The hospital?"

You smiled. "I think maybe the infirmary Tendou."

"Ok!" Tendou picked you up like a princess.

"Tendouuuu I can walk on my ownnnn" You whined not liking the stares that your getting from the few people who walk pass.

"Shh N/N. Just let me spoil you for once pretty please???"

There was no way you can ignore that cute wittle puppy eye that he was giving you. So you just sighed. Silently giving him permission to princess carry you.

Once you guys reach the infirmary, Tendou went to take the 1st aid kit and gingerly applied medicine on you. (A/N: idk how to describe sorry)

"N/N if there are anyone else who cares bully you I'll make sure their life is hell." Tendou said ruffled your hair affectionately.

The next day during morning assembly, you saw your three bullied on the stage. Your principal was yapping about them being a bully blah blah blah. You weren't quite listening.

You were busy wondering who on earth dared to report them. You looked at Tendou and saw him smiling back at you mouthing the words: "I reported them. Now no one will bully you again." Then he send you a flying kiss 😘

You sat there quietly, waiting for the love of your life, waiting for the one who makes your day to arrive.

It was 9pm when you called him. Man where you bored. Your parents were out on a business trip to Singapore and usually when that happens Oikawa will accompany you. Of course your parents didn't mind. They love that sweet and charming boy and they approved of him. A/N: In italics is Y/N's thoughts! At least he promised to come over. What's the worst that could happen? Nothing much right? You ponder upon it for a while then realise worst case scenario, he could not appear at all.

Pushing that pessimistic thought of your, you stood up and went to the living room to find a movie that both you and Oikawa would enjoy. After searching for a while, you found an alien themed movie where aliens exist in real life! Hmm kawa would love this movie! I'm sure he would tell me how much he wishes it to be real at the end of the show!

While waiting for Oikawa to arrive, you played some of your favourite songs and changed your clothes, tying your hair and even apply a touch of makeup to look nice and appealing for him. Especially since he would come right after a date with Ruby. You even make your hair wavy just like how Oikawa likes it. You checked your phone after dressing up and it was 10.30pm. You took 1h 30 min to dress up and Oikawa was still not here. So, any normal girl, you texted him.

Ah maybe he's busy or he's on his way. I should be patient and wait for a while more. So you decided to wait. You were scrolling through Instagram when you came across an image that you did not quite like. It was an image of Oikawa and Ruby kissing!!! It does not look like it was a peck on the lips but it looks like Oikawa shoving his tongue into Ruby's throat kind of kiss! 

Your heart dropped. He promised you. He swore he would never kiss her on the lips. No intimate actions with her. And that looks very intimate to you. Oikawa Tooru had just broken his promise with you... Maybe the image was wrong. Maybe it was photo edited... Maybe... You were clinging on to that tiny glimmer of hope and decided to call Oikawa. It was 11pm afterall.

Man were you mad at him. Not only did he broke a promise, he even ended the phone call so rudely and was rude to you. You waited for a while more and then you heard the door bell rang. You got up and opened the door to see your boyfriend, Oikawa Tooru. You were prepared to scold him but upon seeing him, you couldn't say anything.

"So Y/N-chan, are you gonna let me in or what?"

"Ohh right! Come in. We have so much to do! I've prepared a movie for us to watch and cuddle!" You exclaimed happily. God, you cant stay mad at him for long can you? There's this cute and handsome boy right at your doorstep who are you to stay mad at him for? 

Oikawa stomped in, plop himself on the couch and said something hurtful. "Why the hell are you dressed like this, it looks so ugly on u. And what's the point of putting makeup if you're still gonna be this ugly?"

That was the last thing you wanted to hear from him that sentence that he said, calling you ugly, that broke you. You couldn't stand being called ugly. Thats your greatest insecurity. Usually when you are called ugly, Oikawa is the one who comforts you. Who tells you how pretty you actually are. A/N: Yes you are pretty and you cant convince me otherwise. Hearing him call you ugly was horrible. It broke you.

Oikawa then realised... 'that's what N/N-chan was trying to tell me just now when she asked if we could go on a date... OH SHIT! Our anniversary! I forgot!!!' Oikawa thought. He couldn't do much now and he did have a date with Ruby soooo.... He had to go on that date with Ruby and 'surprise' you with a last min gift or something.

You were at home now, crying over the fact that Oikawa has chosen Ruby over you. You had expected to spend your whole of your anniversary with the love of your life, Oikawa Tooru. 'That bitch stole my Oikawa from me... Now I'm all alone in my room away from my lover,' you thought.

You stared at a scrapbook that you made for Oikawa as your anniversary gift for him. You flipped through the pages with care looking at all those photos that you printed out. Each and every date that you went with him had been written down in details from your perspective, every little trinkets all pasted on that scrapbook. You came across your favourite date of all...

Our date to the amusement park <3 

Today was the day Oikawa and I go on the date that I've seen on many many animes. The amusement park. It all started off when Oikawa picked me up from my house, seeing him all dressed up in his casual clothes made me wonder how lucky I was to have him as my bf. We soon left to a cafe to eat our breakfast. As always Oikawa picked milk bread for his choice of food.

We then played many roller coasters. So much so that Oikawa puked. He was so not proud of that moment. We even went to the haunted house and Oikawa was putting up a strong face for me but in reality he was frightened to death. Oikawa was clinging onto me to "protect me" but he was just trying to make himself feel safe. At one point when a zombie appeared, he screeched so high pitched like a little girl and everyone stared. That was very embarrassing...

When the sun set and the multi coloured lights on the Ferris wheel shone brighter than anything. Oikawa and I rode the Ferris wheel and we chatted the whole ride until... We reached the top of the Ferris wheel and suddenly, Oikawa leaned into me and kissed me oh-so passionately. ( insert image of you two kissing ) When I asked him why did he kissed me, he told me that there was a myth that when 2 lovers kiss at the top of the Ferris wheel, they will be together forever.

As you flip through more and more pages, a sense of nostalgia hit you like a ton of bricks. Your nose turn sour and your eyes started to water. Without realising, your tears had stained the scrapbook... Your stared at your scrapbook noticing those little tears on it and quickly shut the it, not wanting your precious scrapbook to get wet.

You decided to scroll through Twitter and saw Ruby's tweet... (A/N: pls pretend that it was in the afternoon for the image!)

At the sight of that post you broke down into tears worser than just now. Ruby went with Oikawa to the beach. The most romantic place a couple could be at. But, they are just a fake couple right? Right?  You were still clinging onto that tiny glimmer of hope that Oikawa didn't completely forgot about your anniversary. You hope Oikawa wasn't having as much fun with Ruby than being with you. 

You felt jealous of Ruby...

"Yes! Of course I would!" Ruby exclaimed in excitement and wrapped her hands around Oikawa's shoulder leaned in for a kiss but Oikawa covered her mouth with his palm. "Not now Ruby-senpai. Let's take it slow." and he wrapped his other arm around Ruby's waist tightly and filled with affection. He was hugging her just the way he always did with you...

Ruby leans into him to nook of his neck nuzzling into that safe spot that belonged to you! Ruby sniffed Oikawa while nuzzling him, smelling his faint cologne. "Oikawa. No wait. Tooru. You smell so good~" She whispered his ear, causing Oikawa to blush. To freaking blush. His bush was still adorable like suuuuuper cute and you wanted yourself to be the only one who could do that...  Who could hug him, putting your head on the nape of his neck to whisper sweet things to his ear... To make him blush... I guess the universe just won't give you what you wanted...

You couldn't watch anymore. You just couldn't. Watching the love of your life, the only one for you being so close to another girl was simply killing you. And not just any girl. It was the most popular girl in school with the prettiest long hazel brown hair and sapphire like eyes that you've ever seen and it complimented her fair skin so beautifully. She was so soooo much prettier than you are, and for the first time since you dated Oikawa who made you feel loved, you felt insecure... N/N-chan. I'm with Ruby-senpai now.

Ano... I'm sowwy we can't go on a date today... Ruby asked if we could go on one today since it is our 1st day dating...

Y/N<3:

But kawa...

Oikawa<3 (the💗of my life):

But nothing N/N-chan. I gotta make Ruby-senpai happy too u kno? Its our 1st day dating afterall

Y/N<3: 

But... Nvm...

You knew he had forgotten about your one year anniversary with him... 'How could he?!' you thought. Your 1st year anniversary, it marks that day, that moment Oikawa confessed to you and made you feel so so loved. You couldn't be happier than what you felt then... Then... You recalled that Oikawa had promised to take you out on this very day... 'Maybe he forgot... Or he's gonna surprise me' you thought hopefully.

((Flashback to months ago))

"N/N-chan! Our anniversary is soon right?" Oikawa chirped happily once he ended his volleyball training. 

"Yup! What would we be doing then?" you asked lovingly, really looking forward to your anniversary.

"Hmmm... You like (F/F) right? I'll bring you to (random expensive restaurant that sells (F/F))

You gasped and asked "But isn't that expensive?!"

"Mhm. I don't mind spending that money on you tho. Plus I make a lot of money by being featured on the volleyball magazines. So don't worry about the price and let or anniversary be the day I spoil you rotten ok? I'm not taking no for an answer!"

You reluctantly agreed but inside you were really really happy that he was willing to spend the money that should be for his basic necessities on you. It made you feel special, loved and appreciated. 

((Back to present time)) 

You went home disappointed, but you still carried some hope that Oikawa had left something for you. You took tiny steps as you walk,  taking the long way home, dreading the moment you reach home and your mother would ask you millions and billions of questions at one go about your 1st year anniversary and what did you guys do. You felt so jealous of Ruby who got to spend your special day with Oikawa! As you walk slowly back home, you looked around at the surroundings and saw couples hugging, kissing, being lovey-dovey just like you and Oikawa... or used to... 

After a few min of walking you saw the baker. you went with Oikawa on your 1st official date. You were hit with a sense of nostalgia. You recalled every single thing that happened on that date. You remembered how excitedly he rushed to the bakery when he was walking you home. He had seen this huuuge sign board that said 'One For One Milk Bread!'

One year ago you were walking in this exact same road with the love of your life...

One year later you were walking alone because your bf is busy being on a 'date' with Ruby...

((3rd person POV)) 

(We are now seeing what is happening with Oikawa and Ruby) 

"Tooruuu~" Ruby whined, "can we get going noww~ and who are you even talking tooo~"

Oikawa had been talking to Iwaizumi before he was interrupted. Since Oikawa was taller than Ruby, it blocked her view of the person he was talking too. Oikawa then turned to face Ruby, allowing her to take a glimpse of Iwaizumi.

"Ruby-senpai, wait for a while ok? I'm talking to Iwa-chan for a while" Oikawa kindly informed Ruby with his award-winning smile that Iwa knew was fake.

"Hi Ruby-senpai. I'm Iwaizumi Hajime, shittykawa's best friend and I had known since he was in middle school." Iwa formally introduced himself.

"Hi. Can I call you Iwa?" Ruby asked and Iwa nodded immediately. "1st and foremost, Tooru is not shitty so never call him 'shittykawa' again! Secondly, are you done talking to my bf? We're about to go on a date!" 

Oikawa snickered as Ruby commented about Iwa calling him 'shittykawa'. 

"Oikawa! What did she mean by you're her bf?!"Iwa whispered to Oikawa. "Don't you have Y/N? Are you cheating on her?! And what does she mean by date?! Isn't it you and Y/N's 1st year anniversary?!" Iwa was furious and smacked Oikawa on the head. 

Oikawa then realised... 'that's what N/N-chan was trying to tell me just now when she asked if we could go on a date... OH SHIT! Our anniversary! I forgot!!!' Oikawa thought.

((Carrying on from before...))

"Y/N-chan. I got a confession from Ruby-senpai and I'd like to discuss with you about it..." Oikawa said seriously.

The Oikawa Tooru you knew was rarely serious and when he is serious, he means business. You knew that from dating him for almost a year now that serious Oikawa is never to be taken likely. The last time he was serious, he severed a ball so hard to the other side of the court in their matcha against Shiratorizawa it seemed more like a super suuuuuper hard spike and the impact caused the ball to bend in a weird way a few months back. A/N: I'm sorry idk how to explain but its like the spike he did against Karasuno in the Spring High. That was when you knew your boyfriend was not to be messed with when serious. 

"Y/N-chan? About Ruby-senpai's confession... I'm going to..." Oikawa trailed off

"To?" you asked not wanted to be left hanging, being and pleading whatever is above for him to reject her confession.

"Accept it." Oikawa muttered out.

"WHAT?! ARE YOU CRAZY?!" you exclaimed upon hearing his answer and after a moment of realisation you whispered out, barely audible, "what about me? Are we gonna bre-"

"No no! Its not like that N/N-chan." Oikawa interrupted.

"Then what Tooru. Then what? You want to 2-time me?!" you asked.

"No. Sweetheart, no. Listen ok? Here is my plan. You know how I don't let any one in sch know that I am dating you to avoid my crazy fans to bully you right?" Oikawa explained, choosing his words carefully.

"Yeah?"

"Ok, so I'll date her but there will be a lot of things she can't do and she would never know that we are dating and I'll priorities you ok? You will always be my no. 1 ok?" Oikawa explained clearly.

"Sooo you're technically fake dating Ruby-senpai. And dating me in secret so you are 2-timing her." you summarized.

"Yup! So do you agree?" Oikawa questioned.

"Do I get to state my conditions and what you can do with her and not?"

"Yes you can. Anything for you N/N-chan~"

"You can't do any intimate stuff with her. You can only hug, kiss her but not on the lips and intimate areas. You can only kiss her face, and at most, at most her neck. You can also hold her hand and stroke/pat her hair/head. THAT IS ALL! Promise?"

"Ok so hug, hold hand, stroke/pat head and kiss face and at most neck no lips. Right?" Oikawa confirmed.

"Yup!"

"Ok then, I promise you I would never do any of the things you told me not to to Ruby-senpai."

 "Ok. I trust you and I still wanna be your no. 1 can I? Pls?" you asked eyes filled with hope

"Of course N/N-chan. I'm 'dating' her but my heart is and will forever be yours Y/N" Oikawa confessed. A/N: Cappybara gave me this idea so thx Cappybara!

"Aww that is so cute and cheesy" you said giggling.

"Sooo I have your approval to 'date' her?"

"Yes you do"

((Timeskip: the next day))

Oikawa went to find Ruby in her class. "Ano, Ruby-senpai, I have an answer to your confession... I decided to accept your confession. So Ruby-senpai, would you be my gf?"

"Yes! Of course I would!" Ruby exclaimed in excitement and wrapped her hands around Oikawa's shoulder leaned in for a kiss but Oikawa covered her mouth with his palm. "Not now Ruby-senpai. Let's take it slow." and he wrapped his other arm around Ruby's waist tightly and filled with affection. He was hugging her just the way he always did with you...

Little did they know that you were in the corner watching them, and your heart sank... You knew you had given Oikawa the permission to hug Ruby and you knew it was going to hurt, but you never expected it to hurt this much. It was like your heart has been shattered into millions and billions of pieces just by watching them hug. You couldn't help but wonder what would happen if Oikawa disobeyed your conditions and kissed Ruby on the lips at a place where you could see. How painful it would be and how angry and jealous would you feel... 

 Maybe one day, one day Oikawa Tooru might forget you and put is 'gf' as his no. 1 priority instead of you. Would you regret it? Maybe you would. But will Oikawa actually hurt you even tho he made a promise? A/N: You will find out soon. In chapter 3 and more...
