Miami SWAT Team Beats Up Kids Over a Little Weed

(HighTimes) Despite the majority of the American population sharing the opinion that law enforcement should focus their efforts on violent criminals rather than drug offenders, the latest glimpse into the War on Drugs shows it becoming more deviant and unscrupulous, with Uncle Sam’s foot soldiers now purposely using brutal force against defenseless young children.

A Miami SWAT team has some serious explaining to do after officers, on a mission to bust a narcotics operation, kicked down the door of a home in Coconut Grove earlier last week, and used assault rifles to beat the hell out of a couple of kids that had been left in the house alone.

Homeowner Bobby Mclendon says that not only did the SWAT team storm in and violently lash out against two frightened kids who were not putting up any resistance, but they had the wrong house. The address on the search warrant indicates that the raid was actually supposed to go down several blocks down the road at 3744 Williams Avenue instead of at Mclendon’s residence: 3844 Thomas Avenue.
