@staff why did you delete Phoenix-Ace’s blog while simultaneously allowing other far more problematic and down right predatory blogs have free reign? Asking for a friend...

Smh the support was only there while it was the edgy thing to do. 🤷🏽‍♀️
“We need more diversity in media!!” Really means “we want an almost entirely black cast and Hispanics, Asians, other races and ethnicities, lgbt people, disabled people, and all others can fuck off” bc people only care about those things when the cast is white. Coco was fantastic and celebrated Mexican culture, but it was completely slept on. The Shape of Water showed a mute woman whose sexuality was open and not looked down upon, with a diverse cast of white, black, lgbt, and monster characters, and an amazing story about love and the corruption of white men in power, directed by a Mexican, and people completely overlooked this movie too. But when Black Panther came out, all of their complaining about “lack of representation” suddenly went away. Bc Black Panther had a black superhero at the front of it, and that’s all the representation that matters, right? You don’t actually care about representation for everyone. You just want to make all characters black.

This shall be my opening line during class tomorrow 😂😂😂
Someone asked my maths professor why numbers exist and she said “One day, for whatever reason, someone decided they wanted to count things and it’s been a major inconvenience for everybody ever since.”
